Very nice location. The wait staff were unbelievably competent. Very nice and helpful. The only reason I did not rate overall excellent is the hotel needs some upgrading in the bathrooms and bedding.

This is a great hotel. We went in February for Carnival so had little expectations for the weather. The hotel was great. It is child-friendly but allows separation. There are two large pools, one - no children. The Spa pool as hot and half in and half outside. This made a winter stay enjoyable. Three things of note: The service is genuinely friendly. This is a national trait but they were really charming. Especially George who seemed to serve us at every breakfast and dinner. His smiles made the stay memorable. Secondly the position of the hotel. It has a fabulous beach restaurant which is open in the summer. The hotel is a haven for walkers. Lastly, we stayed half board. This was a bargain option. The breakfast was magnificent but the dinners were fabulous. These were old-fashioned gourmet meals. Some even with sorbet between courses. A nightly feast.

We only disliked the fact that we always have to go outdoor to travel in the hotel areas. It was raining and it was not that comfortable with a child. Otherwise it was great and rooms were super warm;)

No air conditioning very smelly room and the chef could not serve a chicken salad right to be fair then I was not charged

The hotel was lovely. Beautiful surroundings and gorgeous dinning area. The hotel also has a private rocky beach area called Kantra which is spectacular. Definitely worth a visit if your staying there.

located in a small quite village, the hotel provides a serene atmosphere with a great Mediterranean vibe. All set on one floor, rooms are accessed seperately and lead to the pool area from the back door. The architecture and concept of the build is fantastic but the place desperately needs renovation. The staff is terribly helpful but facilities need some work- during our latest stay both phone is the room had no line, Wifi was not very reliable and bath towels were not topped up from one day to another. Generally, a fantastic hotel, but requires attention to detail which would bring it en par with other 5 star hotels in the Mediterranean region.

Fabulous getaway - calm, comfortable and great service. Perfect spot for chilling, relaxing break.

Not what it was when the Italians ran it, no meet and greet the little touches that made it special. The Kantra is a good addition. Many of the older staff have no time for Mr Borge ...I hope I spelled that correctly. The food is not what it was, but the staff are all as charming as ever.

Most unique hotel I....definitely will go back for another stay.
