It´s a nice hotel with a exceptional location. Regarding the hotel its nice but lacking the extra in both service and room standard (questions during check-in, towels etc. and room with a broken closet door and slamming doors). Dining experience was nothing more then OK.

"Such a beautiful hotel "

From start to finish our stay was lovely. The breakfast had a huge choice and they were extremely accommodating to my gluten allergy. The three pools were all excellent- the adult only pool was a favourite of mine. Dinner was also brilliant, a huge range of choice on the set menu which was 4 courses for €30! Highly recommend this hotel.

"Very well sited hotel in beautiful surroundings"

We have stayed here more than 10 times and are sorry to record that it now looks rather tired and needs a big injection of money to justify level 4. Set up as a luxury place but no longer meets standards.

Disappointing overall. Wellness / SPA area was anything else but "hygenically acceptable"... steamroom had bad smells, door didn't close properly; jacuzzi had dark spots on the water filters; plastic cover of pool was laying in the water covering 20% of the pool, nobody around to clean or maintain.

"You will eat well here but other short comings"

The food was fabulous - both the dinner and the breakfast. Unfortunatelly our room was the furthest away from Reception which was a bit of a drag for one of us who is disabled. Also the air conditioning unit in our room had purposely been switched over. to hot air only for the winter (we were told this when we suggested the A/C aas not working) even though it was still quite warm outside and our room was really stifling. A pedestal fan was however provided when we asked but there was no offer forthcoming to take it to our room for us and, as just mentioned, our room was quite a long way from Reception so I had to carry it there myself which I thought was not the best service I have ever received from a hotel.

"Amazing jewel"

The hotel is blessed with stunning views of both the coast and interesting landscapes that you can see from a distance. The hotel is incredibly tranquil, with many interesting plants and trees scattered throughout the hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and engaging. The food and services are great. I enjoyed and always looked forward to breakfast and dinner as their daily menu always offer something different. One would definately enjoy their stay there.
