"Got our room 2 hours late"

4.0

So so. Our confirmation stated checkin "at 15.00". When we arrived we were told that on Saturday the checkin time is "From 15.00". The hotel reception said that the mistake was by Hotels.com. We eventually received our room at 17.00. On entering the room there was a strange smell. We opened the window and it seemed to clear. Room was OK. The only problem was paper-thin walls. We could hear everything being said by the couple in the next room. The spa was really nice and we used it twice. The breakfast looked better than it tasted. There was no fresh bread available, only rolls which seemed to be a few days old. This was strange as the toasting machine was operating full blast. The egg station was unmanned and we had to wait half an hour before someone showed up to make an omelette. To communicate with the dining room staff you either have to know Russian or English.

"Outdated spa. Comfortable clean noisy room."

6.0

Haven’t been here in a long while and it seems it has not been updated in years. Some pros and cons. Pros: Reasonable price for a clean room with a comfortable bed. Great facial Treatment. Nice touch having the tea corner open for most of the day. They use to also have fruit platters in the afternoon, seems they eliminated that, as well as dining in the separate dining room which is smaller and quieter plus has a garden you can dine in. We were instructed to dine in the large hotel that is connected to this one. There was an abundance of breakfast/lunch food with friendly staff that accommodates for vegan dietary needs. Cons: The noise is horrible. You can hear every word in the adjacent room and vacuum cleaning begins at 8:30 AM. The spa has not been updated and is not in good shape. The salt water pool is the only thing to use here. The Turkish hammam has zero steam and smells of mold, as does the steam room. Lots of plastic chairs full with people during the day that come for spa use. The only time to truly enjoy is in the evening when the bus leaves. We had the place almost to ourselves! Open till 9-10PM depending on the day.

"Worth it to the price given"

8.0

The hotel is good, not great. The staff is a little bit rude and ignore you sometimes. Informations about transport is poor and mistaken. Amenities, furniture and spa are good and ok. Strange you have only one towel to you inside the spa. you want more, you pay.

Great location for a short walk to the Dead Sea across the street. The rooms are not advertised as you would expect. Look at the pictures, you would think that there are large windows, there are not - the staff has placed curtains next to the ext wall giving the on-line appearance of windows. Your actual window to see out (the Dead Sea) is SMALL. Further the A/C in the room did not work well, and it was warm in hallways, etc. Very dated, old.

"Mixed feelings "

6.0

This is our second stay at the Spa Club. The hotel itself is ok but not thrilling. Upon entering our room when we checked in it was hot and stuffy with a strong smell of cleaning fluid. Service to fix a TV was an hour responding. They were blase in their attitude about our dinner dining experience that we were unhappy about. However - we enjoy the over 18 rule since Israeli families are large and loud. (We have such a family ourselves but all the more reason to seek this quiet) and we love the spa and it's services and personnel. We are not sure if we will come back next year.

The hotel was filthy and the staff was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. It’s a spa hotel and they were out of towels. Further, they lost our reservations and made it very difficult to book the spa reservation. The door to my room didn’t open and the hotel is comparable to a 30 year old motel. On the plus side, dinner was simple but good and one lady in the spa area who cared immensely about her job, tried to make out stay better. I would absolutely not go here again. For a spa hotel, it was anything but relaxing.
