Hotel RH Corona del Mar

It was a wonderful 4 days, the staff were all friendly and helpful, and the hotel was immaculate. The breakfast was constantly being refreshed whatever time we went. Our room was cleaned daily and with fresh towels .

Fourth time staying at the hotel and yet again it was fantastic, great staff , good breakfast, clean room everyday . By far our favourite hotel , although it was November having amazing weather for the full week helped , thank you again …………..

The hotel was very nice and clean the location was great not far from the beach the food was very good plenty of choice the rooms were nice and clean the entertainment was good all the staff were friendly and all work very hard will hopefully return next year 😀

Hotel was always clean and fresh, in room and public areas. Staff were polite and friendly. Hotel was well situated near to beach and shops & bars. Drinks prices in hotels bar were reasonable. Indoor pool was far too hot, outdoor pool was far too cold. Evening entertainment was mediocre, David the entertainment compare and daily activity organizer was brilliant. Food was bland and repetitive. Would I go again? If the food and entertainment standards were addressed, yes.

This is a hotel that we visited 15 years ago, & we remembered how good the food was then. I am glad to say that the standard has not dropped in the slightest. We stayed on a 'Full Board' basis, and every meal was of a high standard, varied, & left us totally satisfied! In fact, the hotel is excellent, in all respects. Spacious & comfortable rooms, cleanliness cannot be faulted. Drinks were of a good standard and very reasonably priced. Service in both bar and restaurant was very good too. The hotel is on the quieter side of Benidorm, which was ideal for us, but is ideally positioned for access to all areas. Entertainment was good, and David, the one man Animateur team, was excellent! His humour & personality quickly put us all at ease & made the various games great fun! Thanks David! My only suggestion for improvement eould be to open the pool bar all through the holiday year! All in all, a great choice for a hotel in this lovely area! T&Axx

The Corona De Mar is a wonderful hotel, perfectly positioned near the sea and the old town. The staff are absolutely fantastic especially the friendliest, most helpful reception staff I have ever met. The food quality is very good, but at times could be warmer. There is a great deal of choice and you will never leave the restaurant hungry. We found the bar staff very hardworking even managing to remember our favourite tipples. The hotel is spotless, all the ladies work so hard day in day out. One of the highlights of our holiday was the hotel animations manager DAVID he was exceptional and kept us entertained with his commitment to his position. He encouraged you to join in but never pushed you or made you feel uncomfortable if you didn’t want to. Overall we had the perfect holiday and would recommend the hotel 100%.

Room with a sea view was fantastic very clean and daily change of towels would return with out a doubt and brilliant location,pool with sunbeds was good no reserved beds at all which was a bonus towels to hire

Our first visit to the Corona was with our family in 2019 & we've been many times since, the last time was in May this year and we have booked again for January 2026. We are in Benidorm for a few days & called in for a coffee. As soon as we walked in we noticed an extremely strong smell of air freshener. So strong that we had to take our drinks outside as It made myself & my wife feel unwell. I know this is happening a lot in Benidorm hotels, but I've never experienced it as bad as i did in the Corona. I'm very surprised that the RH Group are doing this as they have won many awards for their environmental credentials, therefore spraying what is basically a poisonous & unhealthy substance is not good for the environment or the people breathing it in. I can assure you I'm not a health freak but know this is not good. Sadly i will have to cancel my 2 week holiday in January.😞

This was our second stay at the Hotel and we had a great time! The hotel is in a perfect location away from the main areas of Benidorm but not too far away.. perfect for the beach! On arrival we were met by a fantastic receptionist who we had a conversation with about her time working in the UK ( wales) what a lovely friendly lady she was ( didn’t catch her name) Our room was on the 2nd floor over looking the pool area.. lovely spacious and very clean rooms! We had full board dining and all food was cooked very well, lots of choice too. The omelette chef is lovely who made the best omelettes for me every morning! On a whole the staff in every part of the hotel were very friendly and always had a greeting for you! I did have one moment with a receptionist ( again didn’t catch her name.. shortish.. with long dark hair) I was walking through the hotel with my hood up as it was very windy outside and this receptionist came running after me shouting for me to leave the hotel as I wasn’t a guest… luckily another guest was walking with me and he had to say that I was a guest in the hotel before she left me alone.. without an apology.. this made me feel very uncomfortable!

Hotel is very nice and the staff friendly and helpful. But the food is tasteless and uninspiring. Not much choice. Salads are nice.
