Summer House Cairns

I stayed in the 4ppl bedroom and it was really chill, the hostel is really clean and the staff is very friendly, Leticia was very helpful with everything I needed.

The kitchen is way too small for the number of people

Close to the airport and convenient shuttle bus to the center. Friendly staff. Well equipped kitchen, which was extremely busy though. Lockers and sockets next to each bed. Lots of toilets and showers. Good value for money.

The bathrooms looked a bit run down. The communal area was super crowded in the evening.

Even though the location isn't great they provide a free shuttle, however the place is huge and always throwing activities

Bit tricky to get around the second floor especially at check out time when yoga is happening there

The bathrooms were disgusting and the rooms had a damp smell. The kitchen is absolute chaos - so many people and not enough room. Lots of long term stays. I booked a female dorm which simple didn’t exist - so I had to move room

Bathrooms far from the rooms, dirty and with a strong bad smell.
