Had a great stay at Summer House Backpackers Cairns! The atmosphere was really social and fun, the staff were friendly, and the pool area was perfect to relax after a day out. Great place to meet people and enjoy Cairns.

only downsides are the rude staff (they did help however) and mould in my room on the roof that made my asthma flare up

Does the job for a night

Booked an en-suite room, but it could do with some maintenance. The bathroom felt quite old and worn, and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. Even though our room was at the end of the hallway, we could still hear everything, and noise from people returning at 2–3am made it difficult to sleep.

They had a bus to the night markets which is great

It didn’t have any maps for cairns area when I went to get one
