American Motel

Location was perfect Everything you could want in walking distance!!

Ice in front of entrance doors,snow removal is seriously lacking. Was traveling with my elderly mother and the ice was a definite safety issue!! Went to take a bath & relax for a bit the water came out the color of black coffee!! Not good!!! Wi-Fi was basically none existent and was a necessity but nothing I could do about it! Breakfast was glazer donuts from Kwik Trip across the street??? It was very inconvenient and well overpriced for the accommodations or lack there of!! Probably won’t visit again

This hotel would be less than $50/night anywhere else, but they take full advantage of being 1 of 2 hotels in the area by jacking up the price. (The other hotel is just as expensive and just as bad.)

Was a very bad stay, room gross. Burn holes everywh, dirty sheets, Everythi all dirty n gross, wish I could get a refund

Very clean. Its a very good value for the price. As budget-priced motels go, it’s as good as any.

Other than having long discussion about my service dog ( no payment for service dogs, they should know that you CANNOT ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT SERVICE DOG - PERIOD ! ), front desk was friendly. Breakfast ? Well, I do like donuts but that was the only thing they offered for breakfast. Not counting cereal :) Otherwise room was clean, smell nice, comfy bed. Water in bathroom sink run rusty so they should check the pipes.

Bad cigar smell throughout room even though non smoking room, other…skunkish smell available, not recommended. Open windows kept ac on, left asap

Good location, easy to access. Breakfast was Kwik trip doughnuts and tampica juice. Cable did not work till later on Saturday. Overall C- rating.
