HRThe location is really good, in the centre walking distance from all main places to visit. We were in a 4 people bedroom and had a private toilet. The staff were friendly. The rooms and facilities were good and clean.
The kitchen is really small. There’s not a lot of cutlery and dishes so few times we had to wait for other people to finish eating so we can get something to eat with. Also, people didn’t always wash dishes after themselves so the kitchen was a bit messy. The lower bunks don’t have curtains and there’s no storage space to put your stuff in. Keep an eye on your groceries in the kitchen, ours and some other people’s disappeared although we labeled everything.

Kitchen was pretty dirty in the evening , very busy hostel. Beds were squeaky!

GBGood location for walking to everything in Wellington. Was quiet at night in the private rooms. Had an outdoor area to store our bicycles as we’re riding the TA.
Bathroom had a blocked drain and when one of us showered a load of short hairs came up through the plug whole and filled the shower base. Not enough shower gel/shampoo provided for the number of people and nights staying. Building works right outside the building that started around 0700. Not in their control, guy should be warned to guests.

Room felt dirty and sheets were stained. Communal kitchen was filthy with pigeons roaming around the kitchen counters - major health hazard! There were lots of long-term residents staying here who would sleep on the communal sofas during the day which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere. I would not recommend staying here.
