Langham Court

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and the parking at the hotel was good. The hotel itself is in need of modernisation but completely acceptable if you just want a place to sleep shower etc. I was there with a group of six lads and none of them had a problem. There is not lot of parking on site but there is a massive public car park right behind the hotel. We were out all day, every day and out again each evening so did not spend much time other than sleeping in the hotel. I would use again if on the I.O.W.

Service is amazing. The staff are friendly and warm. Breakfast was lovely. Beds were comfortable. Bins emptied and clean towels daily. Main criticism is more attention needed on the cleanliness on first day. More time /checks needed but problems got resolved.

Property was old and basic, but we just wanted somewhere to bed down . All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Really close to the beach , the parking was free and there was entertainment on a few nights.

Wonderful breakfast and warm friendly staff. Clean and comfortable despite old building really needing refurbishment. Handy location and enjoyable stay. A slightly larger television would have been appreciated but would return regardless.

The hosts were super friendly and welcoming! The hotel room was not so good. The carpet had stains on it and bathroom needed a deep clean.

Friendly staff comfortable rooms parking is a bit of an issue

The hotel is located approximately a few minutes from the beach. The hotel is a bit dated but seems to be in the process of getting a bit of an update. The room I stayed in was reasonable. Some seem better than others. The staff were wonderful warm attentive and friendly. There is limited parking, but on street parking can be found close at times.

The hotel itself is a bit run down and in need of renovation and upgrading. However the rooms were comfortable, and the staff/owners very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast also. All in all a good value option for a stay in Shanklin.

We had 2 nights here and were a little disappointed. Basically, the lady at reception was very friendly. The hotel was OK, room was a good size, bed comfortable, bathroom with shower over was clean & spacious & there is a lift. There were very few car spaces for 60 rooms, erected scaffolding (looks as if its been there some time) & a fallen wooden barrier reduced it to just 3, 1 taking into consideration the staff cars. TV was tiny - my laptop was bigger. There was a discussion each morning at Breakfast which should not happen. My husband asked for some butter to go with his toast - I got butter with my croissants - but he was told that Flora goes with toast. We did get it but only after a discussion - which you shouldn't have to do. Next morning the same thing happened, again we managed to get some, but only after discussions. The breakfast menu was extensive, and to me, a bit confusing. Not everything was available as we overheard other guests asking for items & they did not have them without preordering. It is obvious to see the place needs lots of money poured into it, venetian blinds not functioning, decor very dated. We did not try to go to the bar or eat in the hotel. The fact the lady at reception was very pleasant we feel bad to highlight these complaints.
