Sheraton Rockville Hotel

Staff is welcoming and very considerate and respectful

Many Marriott properties are charging parking fees. I told the front desk that I was not parking car but saw the charge on my receipt. The hotel is extremely outdated. The only positive is the waiter in restaurant.

It was clean, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and the location was close to our family.

Small suggestion: the channel guide on the TV only displays the channel names and none of the programming. So one has to watch one channel at a time, wait for the commercials to get over before you know what’s showing. Not a large problem but most of your competition does it better. PS there are two channels with lots of movie selections but each movie costs $21.99.

It was in a good location

They left my room open and nobody called me to discuss anything about it. My staff was left all over the place.

I wouldn’t wish my stay at the Sheraton Rockville on anyone. What started as a routine business trip turned into a nightmare: I got food poisoning from their onsite food, was jolted awake by a fire alarm, and to top it off — I found a bed bug in my room. Yes, a bed bug. I reported everything. In detail. And heard absolutely nothing. No apology. No follow-up. Nothing from the hotel, and nothing from corporate. The silence speaks louder than words — and it says they do not care about guest safety, health, or accountability. Shameful.

Cafe staff. Beds comfortable. ADA room for my mom.

Asked well in advance for an ADA room with connecting. Called property directly. I was told there were none with those specs. Not it’s booked, but property does not have. They nicely gave me Room next door. When we checked in there was a very rowdy loud family on the other side of the connecting. My mother is 92 and WC confined.
