Chocolate Express Hotel & Suites Hershey

There qas only two staff memebers the entire trip. Although they were pleasant and nice you can tell they cant keep up with a whole hotel. Breakfast was an option of cereal or bagels, not really a lot. It was over priced for the conditions. I just think they need more help to bring it up to standard.

Very run down hotel

I honestly usually don’t complain I can lay my head anywhere that’s decent and clean but this place should not be in business I was arriving late for check in so I called ahead to tell them that I wouldn’t be there till around 10 o’clock she said that’s fine you can check in anytime just call the number at the front desk if she’s not there I actually didn’t arrive to check in till about 1130 and when we got there our rooms were not ready or clean She was running around the hotel trying to find us a room and then stuck us on the third floor which had zero air-conditioning The rooms were slightly cleaned but not all the way the bathroom sink had a broken soap dispenser that was all over the entire counter and it just was not OK so the lady was like can we deal with it for the night and she would move us to new rooms in the morning and we kind of really didn’t even have a choice so we stayed and then the next day when I asked her if she was going to move us she said that she cannot move us because the hotel was sold out and there was literally us and two other rooms booked and that was it the whole hotel is not in operation The ice machine is broken the washer and dryer are broken the pool was cloudy and didn’t smell like any chemicals the breakfast was mixed cereal in the containers they were stale A large giant old container of cream cheese just unsanitary all together absolutely would not recommend I would rather sleep in my car So we checked out after one night

Great hotel with excellent pricing compared to other hotels in area. They are working hard to make this an excellent hotel and this was shown.

For a 2 1/2 star property, it is what it is… not too happy about the stained sheets. Pool water was dirty and chairs were filled with spider webs. We didn’t try the breakfast either day.

Location is great, but the hotel itself was beyond sub-par. Felt dirty. Bathroom vent making a horrible noise, and for $415/night you would’ve thought some toiletries would’ve been provided. Will definitely not be returning.

The smell when you first walk in was enough to want to leave!

I was not pleased with the bathroom. There was soap left behind and a dirty washcloth.

Hair was still in the tub the ac didn’t work in the one room and the bathroom had an odd odor

The people at reception were unbelievable... very helpful
