Wildwood Inn

The hotel is nice and comfortable. The staff really makes it special. They are all so friendly and kind and go above to ensure customer satisfaction. It’s the best hotel in this little area as it is a quiet town. I would stay here again.

We had a very nice stay at the Magnuson Hotel Wildwood Inn. The quality of the room and service was great. The room a large and Very clean and nicely decorated.. the employees were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was very good. We highly recommend this hotel.

Near many attractions we visited. Not a busy area at this time of the year. Parking near my room on the first floor with my small dog was very convenient.

Stayed here for almost a week. It was a decent hotel. No loud and rowdy people. All rooms are indoors and luggage carts are out front. The staff was very helpful and nice. The 2 queen beds were very hard but sheets and such were clean. Overall the room was clean but a little more attention to detail could be taken on vacuuming. The AC unit seemed old but it kept the room fairly cool(I did end up buying a small fan to help air circulation) The bathroom was clean. Towels were clean and when I asked for extra I got some. Fridge and microwave worked as they should. The 2nd floor was recently painted and carpeted. I found one german roach on a flipflop, but he looked sick and was easy to kill so it seems pest control is kept up and well it is Florida so no real surprise with that. I did not see or smell any evidence of bug infestation. Breakfast was apple and orange juice, coffee, hot tea, biscuits and gravy, link sausages, scrambled eggs, toast, waffles(which you make) bagel, muffins, cold cereal, and oatmeal. The only problem with the oatmeal is there is no way to cook it and even instant oatmeal needs a minute or two in a microwave. The lobby was very clean and comfortable. We used the pool a couple times. It is pretty old and could use some repair but we still enjoyed it. A couple of the chairs were bent at a funny angle, so we swapped them out with better ones. Overall a decent hotel. I would stay here again.

Room needs a lot of TLC and was not very clean

My rating lowered severely because although we were 3 seniors citizens ladies, with one of us disabled & on a walker. When the toilet overflowed, we were instructed to come to the desk & retrieve a plunger. When I explained that there was toilet water all over the floor. I was told to still come & get extra towels to clean it up ourselves. When I insisted that they send someone to do it for fear of someone falling. He finally came did a half job! Left some of the water on the floor with the wet towels! I was glad that it was our last day & we were checking out! I had two other issues prior to this one but this was the absolute worst. I will never stay here again!

The staff were friendly. Room was clean but bathroom door wouldn’t close.

Over all the hotel was good for the price. The room seemed really clean however the floor was like a vinyl made to look like wood, both the vinyl and the tile were slippery and seemed dirty. The bed seemed hard at first but we slept good. Air was ice cold.

The staff was friendly and provided excellent customer service. The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely recommend it to others.

Tv didn’t work. Beds were bricks. Musty odors
