Kuredu Island Resort

We stayed at Kuredu for 15 days with our 6-year-old daughter, and it was truly a beautiful resort. The weather was good overall — sometimes it rained for about 30 minutes, but then the sun came out again. The rooms were spacious and clean, the food was delicious, and the water was soooo blue — wow! We would like to thank the entire staff at Kuredu, especially the chef Mahendra, who made animal pancakes for our daughter almost every day. That was a real highlight for her! A big thank you as well to the waiters Thoddu, Wahid, and Asim. They were wonderful, friendly, kind, and warm-hearted people. This was the first time we ever used a Kids Club, and we were so happy with the experience. From the very first day, our daughter wanted to stay there. The girls organized amazing activities such as kids’ yoga, coconut painting, henna tattoos, and gardening and much more — so lovely! Special thanks to the wonderful Menuka, who became a friend to us during our stay. And also thanks to her lovely team: Suzu, Selcia, and Sita. Our daughter loved them all very much and already misses them. We will definitely come back again next year! We hope you will remember us ☀️😎

We had an amazing stay at Kuredu Island Resort! The island is beautiful, the staff was friendly, and everything was well organized from start to finish. A special thank you to Tharu, our island host, who took excellent care of all our needs during the stay. He always answered quickly, was very helpful, and made sure everything went smoothly for us. Even though he is very young, he was extremely professional and provided outstanding service. Highly recommended!

Best Kidsclub careful and friendly people in Kudsclub Menuka , Selsia, Suzu and Sita Our Children 5 and 6 years old love Selsia and Menuka. They have the best time in Kuredu ever with Henna tatoos , coconut painting, Buggy driving, Making Mocktails, gardening , painting Beauty Days, Kids Yoga, dancing in Kids Club, paper craft, Face painting and lots of fun fun fun. Menuka and Selsia do more as they have to for us and the Kids. Lovely persons and a lovely place for Kids from 1,5 to 12 years old. The stuff of the Island, wahid our waiter, the cooks from Koamas and Our Roomboy Afshar do their very best to make us the Best holidays ever we had. Kids love especially the Cook in Koamas Making them best Animal pancakes every Morning . We love especially Jean and Radjani are the Soul and the Heart of this Resort. And we love especially Kay the Lady from SPA she do Miracle on out Body and Menuka and Selsia for their careness. They all do all what they can for us every time when we come. We have just returned from yet another unforgettable stay on this incredible Maldivian island, and once again, it exceeded every expectation. As repeat guests, this place truly feels like a second home to us—and that’s entirely thanks to the amazing people who make it so special. The island itself is pure paradise: crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and lush greenery everywhere you look. But what really sets it apart is the warmth and genuine care from every single member of staff. From the moment we arrive, we are welcomed back like family, and that feeling never fades throughout our stay. A special mention must go to the kids club, which is simply outstanding. Our daughter absolutely adores it—so much so that we barely see her during the day! The variety of daily activities is fantastic, always fun, creative, and perfectly organized. The girls at the kids club are beyond amazing: kind, energetic, attentive, and truly passionate about what they do. They create such a safe and joyful environment that children instantly feel comfortable and excited to join in. The hardest part? Leaving. Last time, our daughter was in tears saying goodbye, which says everything about how much she loves it there… We usually stay for around two weeks, and every time it feels like it goes by far too quickly. It’s one of the few places where we can fully relax, knowing our child is having the time of her life as well. We are already counting down the days until we return again.This island is not just a holiday destination—it’s a place full of beautiful memories, wonderful people, and experiences we will treasure forever.

This place is truly a little piece of paradise! The perfect combination of peace, nature, discovery, and activities. If you have children, you definitely won’t get bored here! There’s a great kids club where you can leave them and enjoy some quality time as a couple. The team—Menuka, Seily, and Suzu—are amazing with the kids! You can try plenty of water sports, the food is good, and the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. Tharu, our contact on-site, was fantastic and did everything to make my husband’s birthday a memorable one! The boat excursions are great—definitely worth doing at least one. The boat team was wonderful and really went the extra mile to make sure we had the best possible experience. The only small downside I could mention is that there are sometimes not enough buggies in the evening when everyone is heading to dinner; maybe adding a few bikes could help. But overall, for me, it’s a 10/10. And all the marine life I discovered here will stay in my memory forever. Thank you, Kuredu 🙏

This was our 1st visit to the Maldives and Kuredu resort was just perfect. We stayed in the water villas which was amazing. Sangu resturant was fabulous. We booked the chefs table and sea and sand dining experiences which I highly recommend, a big thank you to Krishna the executive Chef who produced an amazing menu. Just magical eating on the beach watching the sunset. The food and service was exceptional.It was my 60th birthday and and Sajanay our resort host organised some amazing treats for me. The whole island is immaculate and just beautiful. The sea life is breathtaking, turtles, rays sharks and we were lucky to see many dolphins on the sunset cruise.The snorkeling at the resort is just magical. I had a wonderful spa treatment at the O spa looking over the sea thankyou Sujatha who made the experience so wonderful. The best thing about the holiday was the amazing staff. We had to stay an additional 6 nights because of the Middle east conflict and although our travel agents were not good at communicating with us the staff at the resort really tried to reasure and support us, especially Rajnami the front office manager who was so helpful and reassuring. I would also like to thank Sajanay our resort host who was so lovely, Bipin our housekeeper who kept our accomodation immaculate always with a massive smile. Waiting staff Tanvi, V Jay, Ellan and Vital. Buggy driver Sandy and the absolute legend Manu who made our holiday, with his wonderful conversations and amazing friendly upbeat personality. We would return in a heartbeat and really hope we will in the future. I would totally recommend this resort.

First time in the Maldives. What an experience staying at the Kuredu. All staff are friendly & helpful. The island is absolutely beautiful. Food was amazing & spoilt for choice. We stayed in the water villas & loved every minute. Room was kept immaculately clean & mini bar well stocked every day. We celebrated a 60th Birthday & was made to feel so special. Birthday meal was in the Veli Tent & worth every penny. Amit who served us was very accommodating & even helped taking photographs. We went to the 5.8 restaurant on another island & found it amazing, well worth a visit. Holiday of a lifetime.

We first fell in love with Kuredu as a couple, but returning with our two boys (aged 4 and 8) turned our dream into a reality we didn’t think could get any better. This was pure magic – for all four of us. Our amazing host, Auss– thank you for making our stay so comfortable and for making sure we had everything we needed. You organised a brilliant cinema night for us on the beach (kids still talk about it!), and you made my very special birthday extra special. We felt so looked after. Kids Club – absolute legends. Our boys had never stayed in a kids club without us before, so we were a little nervous. Then came Menuka, Seliy, Diveena, and Sujana. They were incredibly attentive, caring, and took the time to get to know our children. They encouraged them gently, and soon our 8-year-old declared: “This is the best kids club ever!” That says it all. The Easter programme was brilliant – mini golf, pizza making, sushi making with the chefs, cupcake decorating, an egg hunt, coconut painting, and loads of arts and crafts. Every day was an adventure for them. Koamas Restaurant team – you are the heart of our meals. Krishna, Pema, and Resma made every single meal special. So attentive, so positive, always asking about our day and sharing stories about their own families. We genuinely loved getting to know them. They turned eating into a warm, happy ritual. Snorkelling Safari with Ahmet – absolute highlight. Ahmet and his boat crew took us to the best spots: incredible fish, reef sharks, dolphins. They looked after our 4-year-old on the boat while we snorkelled, making sure he was happy and safe. Ahmet was brilliant with our 8-year-old in the water, guiding him to the best sights. Our older son felt like a real explorer. This was our second time at Kuredu, and coming back with our children made it everything we had dreamed of – and more. Thank you to every single person who made our return so unforgettable. We’ll be back.

This was our first visit to the Maldives and Kuredu resort and both far exceeded our expectations! The sand, sea and sea life were absolutely amazing!.. we'd never seen such white powdery sand and the colour of the sea just had the wow factor! We were amazed by the sea life too..we didn't have to swim far from the beach in the resort, before we saw turtles, baby black fin reef shark (who weren't in the slightest bit interested in us) lots of fish and even a huge stingray lying peacefully on the sea bed! The snorkeling trips arranged by pro divers the operator at the resort were great, we went on one trip to Komandoo island which had an amazing house reef and a 2nd trip called snorkeling safari which took us to 3 separate reef areas. We thought both trips were very good value for money and well organised, we were in a small group and the Guides who accompanied us looked after us well and took us to amazing parts of the reef. Everything about the resort was perfect. We chose Kuredu island because although we love relaxing on the beach we also wanted abit of variety with lots of facilities. We opted for the all inclusive + package which also included a few freebies, which were great! We took the opportunity of a free golf lesson, snorkeling session (which was great for giving us confidence what to expect to see and informative eg awareness about turtles needing to come up for air every 20mins, not to go close them or approach from behind otherwise they don't come up for air!) We also went on a free sunset boat trip, with the possibility of seeing dolphins, this also didn't disappoint. Staff on the boat kept intently looking for dolphins and took us to an area with a beautiful sunset back drop. We saw a group of around 6/7 dolphins diving above the water and doing cork-screw somer-saults. It was magical. The food in the restaurants were excellent. Very good quality and lots of choice. We mainly went to the 'O Resort' Restaurant as that's the part of the resort where we were staying (adults & over 12's) But also we went there because the restaurant was in such a lovely setting overlooking the sea, and had a lovely breeze in the evenings as the humidity remained well over 30+ degrees C. We stayed in an O beach Villa. The room was spacious and new looking and the mini bar well equipped. .the outdoor bathroom was a novelty! The location was so peaceful and relaxing. Kuredu staff made us feel so very welcome particularly in the O resort areas where we spent most of our time. And it really made the holiday for us. We wish we could remember all of their individual names to give them a big thank you and acknowledge how hard they worked. But a particular a mention to : Mani who drove the buggies, always warmly greeted us and had a joke. Was very kind, kept a look out for us and when we arrived late at the buggy stop, reversed to pick us up.! The O Resort Restaurant staff were all wonderful. One of the chefs think named, Banwar was particularly friendly and chatted with us regularly. The hostesses Ashnia and Suprana, who greeted us and showed us to our table were lovely they took the time to chat and remember our names. They were so thoughtful, remembering small details of what we liked to drink and seating us in a good position. Despite the high humidity they never stopped smiling and were always polite and had a laugh and a joke with us. Our island host, Vamshi was also very helpful.Always replied quickly to our messages and kept us informed. He very kindly booked us the reservations at Sangu Restaurant And our room attendant Senthil, who we can't speak highly enough of, always kept our room so immaculate. Ensuring the mini bar was kept well stocked and enough bottled water, for my husband's medical condition. Senthil always greeted us with a smile, took the time to chat and have genuine conversation with us. We really felt he gave excellent customer service. We left Kuredu feeling that we were departing from friends. It made it such a memorable holiday for us. We'd love to return to the island again some time soon!
