Kuredu Island Resort

A very nice island with a great resort. We were very happy to visit this resort Very nice beach, a great villa directly at the beach Food is nice, but not outstanding Stuff is ok too Animation boss was not really friendly

A beautiful and peaceful resort, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The team is incredibly kind and welcoming. We loved the stunning blue lagoons, snorkeling during the day, and relaxing at the bar in the evening. The food was delicious. The highlight part was the Kids Club special thanks to all ladies Suju, Diveena, Menuka, and Selcia for their kindness and fun activities. Our kids loved every moment. Highly recommended!

This was my first time visiting Kuredu and I came with my girlfriend who has been before. We were greeted by Gayan who was our host for the whole stay. He took great care of us and anything that we needed he provided for us. He made the experience of our stay super smooth and we couldn’t be more grateful. I also want to write a big thanks to Bond and Krishna who to looked after us at our meal times. They really made us feel at home and we looked forward to all our meals. They made sure we had drinks at the tables at all times and our water glasses were always full. I cannot put into words how amazing and caring the team are here. Kuredu made our holiday an experience of a lifetime. If you are hesitant about booking here don’t be, because I promise you, you won’t regret it 👌

3rd year in a row at Kuredu and again a great experience! Here we found right balance between services, freedom, spa and diving center (one of the best ever!). Into an international environment, you can enjoy a great house reef from 4 to 21 meters depth, where you can both snorkel or free dive, seeing everything ( sharks, Napoleon, a wreck, moorey eel, eagle ray, etc….): depending on your preferences, you can get what you want at a right price with a great value for money. The best thing about Kuredu is the food quality and diversity in the buffet restaurants (we didn’t try the à-la-carte restaurants, no need for this). The second best was the staff attitude, everyone was always smiling and being ready to help, any wish one might have. The third best was the diving centre, which offers great facilities and service, all guides were great. It’s quite pricey but that’s Maldives. We had the lowest room category, garden bungalow, which was completely adequate for us, as we spent most of the time outside (or under water 😉). There are better positions (even of garden bungalows) that we had, with direct view to the ocean, but we enjoyed ours nevertheless. The room attendant was very good and kept it clean and orderly all the time. The WiFi worked pretty smoothly, although there are places on the island where it doesn’t work, and it would be very helpful, for instance in the diving centre. The nature around is beautiful, all island is green (except for the beaches) and quite a few animals to be observed on land. In the water, sea turtles are a staple, and one can easily see sharks and other fish, simply by snorkelling in the lagune (very easy even for complete beginners) or in the house reef (a bit more challenging). It was probably not the season, I didn’t see many rays though (even by diving three times a day). Finally, the main reason we had chosen Kuredu was the golf course (my husband’s goal is to play in as many countries as possible, Maldives was 153rd). It’s pretty basic (6 short pitch and put holes) but it served the purpose. He didn’t want to play a second round though. They have night golf a few times a week (I think Tue, Thu, Sat and Sun), which is very helpful as it’s very hot during the day. The resort itself is very big and offers many activities that we didn’t have the time and energy to explore: tennis, football, badminton, volley, fitness centre, yoga classes, water aerobics (maybe also others but I can’t remember).

я посещаю этот резорт в 10 раз. значит нравиться, со всеми их минусами смерился. И да, выбирайте сангу или "О" очень большая разница в ресторанах, и я не про наличие или отсутствие детей.

Раньше они как-то приветствовали гостей, которые посещают их резорт повторно. Сейчас увы нет. Да они проводят коктейль вечеринки для таких гостей, но 1 раз в 2 недели и мы не попали на это мероприятие. Раньше в зависимости от кол-ва повторных посещений, они дарили подарки, ужин в ресторане, теперь даже магнитика не дарят, а мы в 10 раз. Жадные стали. Но я к ним не из-за магнитика езжу. а из-за черепах.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang. Die Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villas sind recht geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Sangu Restaurant ist mE das Beste. Der Stand an dem frischer Fisch und frisches Huhn zubereitet wird ist herausragend! Das Hausriff eignet sich extrem gut zum schnorcheln. Man sieht wirklich alles was das Herz begehrt. Fische, Schildkröten, Rochen und Riffhaie, alle täglich gesehen! Für die letzten Tage haben wir noch ein Upgrade auf eine Wasservilla erhalten.

Die Böden der Zimmer sollten nicht nur gewischt werden, sondern dringend auch hin und wieder nass aufgenommen werden. Der Strand dürfte auch vom Personal sauber(er) gehalten werden. Es sind meist Touristen, welche die angeschwemmten Plastikflaschen vom Strand und aus dem Meer entfernen
