Loved the attention to detail, grounds, and gourmet breakfast.

Very, very nice experience. Calm, peaceful environment. The room was classy but at the same time comfortable as was the very large bathroom. Excellent breakfast with a very pleasant server. Couldn't ask for more.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn overnight last week. We loved everything about the experience! The inn is beautiful and was decorated tastefully. Our room (the Duke Suite) was very comfortable and had some nice little touches like TWO luggage racks and a good nightlight. The breakfast was lovely as well and served in a gorgeous sunroom. The inn is not too far from the restaurant and entertainment scene in Durham--a less than 10-15 minute drive. We hope to return in the spring when we can enjoy the garden.

We had a wonderful stay and were warmly welcomed by the owners and innkeepers, Ron and Stephanie. Our room was beautifully decorated—elegant, comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The three-course breakfasts were outstanding each morning, with delicious food and attentive service. One of the highlights was hearing Ron share the incredible history of the inn, dating back to Revolutionary War times—absolutely fascinating. We followed all of their restaurant recommendations and loved every one. We also enjoyed exploring Durham and the surrounding area, especially the breathtaking chapel at Duke University. All in all, a phenomenal stay. We would definitely return and highly recommend this B&B to others!

The Arrowhead is a wonderful, old house and Ron and Stephanie are excellent hosts. Breakfast was delightful and our suite was very comfortable.

Stayed in the Lipscomb room. From the ease with checking in and a warm greeting from Stephanie, to the attention to detail and charm. This place checked all the comfort boxes. The food was delicious. Rooms were comfortable and quiet with wonderful bathroom amenities. Ours had a deep tub and a steam shower. Fireplace in the bedroom was just enough. There’s history of Durham for anyone interested which is kept in a ledger to read. The grounds are very nice with fire pits and lush magnolias. We will definitely return!

In addition to the historic uniqueness of the Arrowhead Inn, it is truly beautiful at Christmas! There are trees, music, and lovely holiday touches everywhere inside and out of the Inn. It was my Christmas destination, near to my family in the area, and quite convenient. The staff is incredible, breakfast always beautifully presented and delicious, and rooms very well appointed and exceptionally clean. It truly is an elevated experience and so comfortable!
