AP Adriana Beach Resort

Unfortunately I have to stay this hotel is the dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. We spent a week in Adriana beach resort as a family and although he hotel has lots of potential to be great but it is let down by very poor management. Good things: -Very unique and beautiful location by the sea -Beautifuly maintained garden with lots of green and very nice plants -We were happy with the food quality and choice especially for lunch and dinner -If someone likes entertainment then this hotel excels with a number of various activities happening throughout the day every day (it could be too much for someone who wants peace and quiet but they can move to the quiet side and pool of the hotel) -Entertainment team is absolutely exceptional. They are all very enthusiastic and very professional. Quite unusual for this kind of hotel and not expected -We loved the golf buggy transfer that is available between the reception area and the rooms. Very helpful with luggages Quite liked that sunbeds were available all around the grounds and gardens What we didn't like and was very disappointed with: -Lots of mould on the curtains -Dirty windows -Pool area was extremely dirty, cleary not cleaned for quite a while -Lot of sunbeds are in a terrible state falling apart -Our room floor wasn't clean either even at arrival and got much worse during stay showing no sign of cleaning -Dinning areas are very dirty with rubbish, food and broken glasses left on the floor for quite a while with no interest at all from the staff to clean up the mess -High chairs are very dirty and not cleaned at all after use, just stuck up with food leftover still in them after previous usage -Glasses and plates are not replenished quick enough during dinning, several occasions there were no glasses at all for 10-15 minutes -Kids Club stuff speaks no english at all. Not a word. I don't expect them to be fluent but the hotel has lots of English guests. How can the staff look after kids if they can't speak a word of English... Our child loves kids clubs, usually there all the time but here didn't want to go at all as no one spoke to her at all -Travelling with a baby and a child we were placed in a first floor room and very far from reception and the restaurant. It was quite unpleasant to carry a pram up and down the stairs 5 times a day with the baby in it giving us back and wrist pain, not to mention it is dangerous. No idea why this is not considerred when allocating room, we booked 6 months earlier -Icecream offer is kind of a joke for a hotel of this caliber -I could carry on longer but probably no point, the whole hotel is in a desperate need for extensive refurbishment but even that wouldn't solve the issue of poor management of the restaurant and dining areas

This hotel has the potential to be 4 star but the way it is ran, unfortunately, means it’s more like a 2/3. The grounds are lovely and well maintained, the pools were both good sizes and splash park area for kids was great too. The food had its pros and cons. Some food was really nice but often (especially breakfast) it was cold, and that doesn’t mean lukewarm, it means quite literally cold. The same food is recycled almost daily, a selection of fish, chicken and pork always served the same way. Not much choice for fussy eaters or kids. The staff were great but quite obviously severely under resourced. They were always smiling and helpful but (as many people have already noted in other reviews) needed to be more of them, especially in bar areas. You’d often find yourself waiting 10-15 minutes for a beer during the day. The whole place needs regular cleaning, pretty much every walk to breakfast in the morning, you’d see tables full of glasses from the night before (pic attached) Glasses and dirty plates are also never collected from round the pool area. Overall the hotel has potential but you get a distinct feeling that in every aspect, they’re trying to save money.

We had one of our best family holidays at the AP Adriana Beach Hotel in Portugal. Travelling with our two boys (aged 6 and 8), the resort was perfect — beautiful, spacious, and surrounded by lush, well-kept gardens. The location is ideal, with a lovely walk down to the beach. The staff were warm and helpful, and the entertainment team were outstanding — the first time our boys have happily joined in the kids’ activities! They brought so much fun and energy without ever feeling overbearing, and made everyone feel included. We had a minor issue with our room on arrival, but reception handled it quickly and moved us to a newer room at no extra charge. The food was fresh and tasty, with plenty of variety, and the snack bars meant our boys were always well fed. There were occasional queues at the bars, but extra staff were brought in and service picked up quickly. All in all, a wonderful stay and we’d absolutely go back.

Lovely hotel, excellent food, great activities team & entertainment, walk to room was a bit long as we were in a block over the road, not enough bar staff at times, had to queue on several occasions, but overall highly recommend.

We had a great time! The staff were helpful on email and arranged our airport transfer prior to arriving. When we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff and even let us check in earlier. Throughout our week, anything we needed, the staff were at hand. Day trips into Albufeira and Vilamoura cost only €2 per person and were super easy to organise with the team. The only downside was that most of the games in the games room were out of order ,but the external contractor was coming later in the week (once we left) to resolve. All in all, we were happy with the room, beds, service, atmosphere and the food.

We booked a visit to Albufeira to escape the cold of the UK for 4 nights. It was definitely warmer ! The hotel itself is very small. It is made up of outer complexes scattered throughout the grounds that house the rooms. If you get one far away, it would be quite a walk to the actual hotel base where the food and drinks are, and the pool ! So, be mindful of this when booking! The beach here is only accessible by climbing down almost 100 steps, so again, be mindful of this also ! The hotel was clean, but in my opinion, very basic. I would put it as a 3 star hotel, not a 4. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, no minibar or even soft drinks provided. No USB slots for charging devices. No heating in the bathroom which did get cold during the evening and night. I would also like to point out, to check your patio door ! We were in a ground floor room with a terrace, on arrival i always check the security of doors and windows. Our patio door did not lock ! When locked, you could still pull it straight open... I called reception who did send someone to adjust it. This may have gone unnoticed by someone less security conscious. So definitely one to check ! Now the food. I appreciate we visited outside of the peak season, so I expected not a great range of food. The offerings were very somewhat confusing to an English man! Mains without sides, or sides without mains. I did find something each day, but the food was always luke warm to cold. The only way you got slightly hotter food, was to be there when the doors opened for the buffet. As I am a massive foodie, this is the one reason, I unfortunately, would not visit here again. If like me you are a foodie, I would suggest thinking twice also. Drinks were also very limited, even on the all inclusive. All of the decent drinks are served on the premium all inclusive. There is no table service at dining, everything is help yourself, drinks included. The dining staff are unfriendly at best. I didn't see any one of them smile during our stay. Dining was very unwelcoming and our least favourite part of our stay. Which is very sad to say, as we generally enjoy dining. I hope this helos someone reading this. I wish I'd read reviews before booking 😅

The hotel was welcoming and clean. The food was lovely and nicely presented however the entertainment team made our holiday absolutely lovely and lively! Even though we went out of season and the weather wasn’t great there were activities

We had an excellent stay although the weather was bad there was enough entertainment in the hotel itself that we never got bored. Nice spread of food and very friendly staff.

The hotel is nice and clean and staff was amazing. Starting from reception, cleaning staff and extraordinary entertainment team. The food was really tasty and for 3 day stay it was a good variety. Spa services are good l. Rhe highlight is the access to the cliffs and beach.

Beautiful place with wonderful people. We've been welcomed by Geovane and entertained by Ibo ,Tomaz Jessica and Vania.Great food and tasty cocktails . Highly recommended. Thank you Joseph and Luis for the colorful cocktails at the bar❤️❤️❤️
