"Historical stay."

The place is very charming .There is so much history , very fascinating, .plus the location is perfect. We walked pretty much everywhere.They serve a wonderful breakfast every morning. In your room or the main dining room. We will definitely stay here again.

"Unique and wonderful"

We spent 4 nights in the Devereaux Suite and it was such a great and unique experience. We loved the location, the history, and the overall inn. The best part is the service! I would rate the service from Ryan and Amanda top notch and they consistently went above and beyond every day to ensure we had anything we needed. We will certainly stay here again and recommend this for anyone exploring Charleston.

Walking into 20 South Battery is like stepping back in time. The beauty of this amazing home takes your mind on a journey into the past that can only be witnessed by staying there. Watching people drive by and gaze at the glory and beauty of this old home is also something to behold. The property is well maintained and in a beautiful quiet neighborhood with easy access to nearby shopping and restaurants. The staff was absolutely wonderful. The communication and attention to detail were excellent to ensure our stay was met with every need. We absolutely loved staying here and if ever back in Charleston we would look nowhere else. Highly recommend this property and Charleston!

"A Beautiful Historic Bed and Breakfast"

20 South Battery is a beautiful, historic bed and breakfast! Our room was very clean and comfortable. The outstanding service at breakfast was such a wonderful way to start to the day, and allowed us time to visit with other guests. The 5-7 pm charcuterie was a very nice touch. 20 South Battery is located in a great walkable neighborhood with many other gorgeous historic homes to view. I highly recommend a stay at 20 South Battery.

A very nice stay in a restored mansion. Wonderful breakfast, great service, and enjoyable managers reception. Would stay again if we are ever in Charleston again.
