The worst hotel I HAVE EVER stayed in. I mean for the price I paid (almost $200). Give me this hotel for $40-50 and I’ll say it’s ok. But not for $200. I mean rooms are horrible. Service is non-existent. Again, I repeat, worst hotel I’ve ever stayed, and that’s not hyperbole.

This was by far the worst hotel i have seen in business. It compares to a very cheap hotel. There was mold everywhere. We preferred not to look for things wrong because we kept finding them. Stains, hair, hand print marks, stench…. It had it all. The elevators were broken. The front staff was painfully slow. I would never recommend of go back.

I was in cartagena in December last year, where I shared with my family and stayed at the Hotel "Dorado Plaza", there were very nice and friendly people in the hotel, there were also service people who looked after us well and provided us with everything we needed, the hotel was perfect, the food, activities, and all the moments inside the hotel were very good for me and my whole family. The beach was very close to the hotel where there was a beautiful view of the sea, the beach was all very nice, the people there felt they were having a good time and enjoyed it as well as my family and I, there was a lot of service from the people there, selling food, food, snacks, and drinks, everything could be found on the beach in cartagena, there were also jet skis and we mounted them, we went very far on them and had a great time. We tried new things. We also visited the murmallada city of cartagena, where we had a good meal in a good restaurant which I don't remember the name now, we also enjoyed a rich ice cream and passed through the streets. We then took a ride in a car which was pulled by a horse, and this gave us a tour and gave us lots of interesting facts about the city. We then toured the streets and enjoyed the local art, people doing acts and crafts. The experience was very enjoyable for everyone.

The first room it was terrible, I make the complain and took pictures I was so frustrated, the staff try to put me in 5 differents room but it was worst finally the manager put us in a decent room the next day, I’m very disappointed with this hotel I’m never will comeback o recommended,

What I liked: it's right across the beach. What I didn't like: lines for everything. The hotel can receive a lot of guests (someone said it was up to 1000 people), so during breakfast/lunch/dinner you have to wait on the line to get your food from the buffet. Only one pool for up to 1000 people (you have to make reservations to get in). Only one bar for up to 1000 people!. You can't get more than 2 drinks per person, so if you're a large group, you can't help bringing drinks to your party table. All of you (or most of you) will have to get in the line to get your own drinks. So: no social distancing. it's crowed as hell during holidays, and the lines for everything make it worst. Only 2 elevators for a 15-floor building where each floor has like 14 rooms each. Elevators crowed as well, or you'll easily wait like 30 mins to get an elevator for yourself. Plus, one elevator didn't work for 2 hours or so. Food was good, but basic. Not Colombian food really nor Caribbean food. Rooms are pretty basic, they feel old and unmaintained. They definitely focus on receiving tons of guests and full their capacity, rather than providing quality.
