Night Shift staff were exceptionally pleasant and courteous during our late night check-in. I wish I remember the girls name who checked us in. She was very professional and courteous even though she was managing a lot. She took care of us very well. I appreciated how professional she was even though it was late at night. Room and hotel have been recently renovated. It looked like. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Only mention I have is that a smalllampshade and small Part of a shower handle missing on arrival we never got time to report it. Because we got there so late at night and left the next morning. That was room 322. But I am sure that Steve will be replacing it soon. Seems like it was something missing from the remodeling but everything was well. Taken care of. We would stay there again thank you again to the girl at night shift.

The people at the front counter are great. Very helpful. I wanted to use the exercise room and it was closed during the stay.

I had a truly terrible experience at this hotel that deserves to be shared, especially for those traveling late at night. After a long 4-hour drive, I arrived at the hotel at 1:30 AM, exhausted and ready to rest. Instead, I was given not one, but two different keys to rooms that were already occupied. Yes—twice, I walked in on people who were sleeping, understandably upset and confused about someone trying to enter their room in the middle of the night. I had to deal with their attitudes, which I don’t blame them for, and I’m sure they’ll also be leaving negative feedback due to this incident. What made matters worse is the staff’s complete lack of awareness. No one seemed to know what was going on or which room I was actually assigned to. It wasn’t until I returned to the front desk a second time and firmly demanded the issue be fixed that someone finally took the time to double-check. Once I was finally in the correct room, I couldn’t even get a decent night’s sleep because the AC unit was extremely loud and made disturbing noises throughout the night. I frequently visit Providence, but I will not be staying at this hotel again. This experience was unacceptable, especially for a late-night arrival. I strongly urge hotel management to review its check-in procedures and room assignment practices. I also believe some form of refund or compensation is warranted for the inconvenience, the stress caused, and the poor quality of my stay.
