Inn on Bellevue

The location was great.

I was very disappointed by many aspects of my stay. It was very frustrating that there was never a front desk person available and that you had to call someone's phone when you needed something. I was very unhappy with the cleanliness of the room. The sheets were stained and when housekeeping came in, they just folded all the towels we already used instead of giving new ones. Also, while the room was cute in keeping to the historic flavor of olden times, there was no heat in the bathroom, and since we went in October, it was quite cold when you used the bathroom or especially when you showered! One of the biggest frustrations with the room was the super thin walls. Not only do you hear everything going on everywhere else, but there is a public cafe right down the steps of the inn and it got very loud very early in the morning - if you want to sleep in on vacation at all, I would not recommend staying here!

Breackfast was not good (at all)

The location was amazing. Everything was within walking distance, so we hardly used the car. Restaurants, Thames Street and Bowen's Wharf were just a few minutes away.

I did not like the breakfast, which is included in the stay. Breakfast was between 8am-10am, but you have to get there at 8am or you won't find a seat. Breakfast is not served in the same building. You have to walk down a few buildings away. Breakfast was continental style with one hot option, either french toast of pancakes. However, there was always a long line because they could not make enough to meet the demand. It might be better not to offer the hot option at all since it seemed overwhelming for the one staff member managing breakfast.

This Inn is exceptional in every way. Kim at the front desk is phenomenal. Every staff member greets you with a smile. You can walk everywhere. The breakfast is awesome. Quiche, ham, fruit, homemade scones and French toast. The rooms are gorgeous with.comfy bedding. We're turning year after year!
