Not the best

Gentleman at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Just as advertised. Bed was okay. A little soft for me but fine. Had a little problem with the AC and Angel was there in 60 seconds and fixed it right up. I would definitely stay there again. I would definitely recommend it.

I liked the room and the location of the Inn was great and the staff was great and friendly.

My wife and I didn't like the breakfasts very much, I thought the quality of the food could have been much better.

7/20/25 to the owner: Re: Inn on Bellevue rating positive experience: front desk person was helpful and courteous ; after trying to explain away the lack of an elevator(and our surprise) , he did carry our luggage up Negative experiences: I complained about lack of transparency in your hotels advertising to your manager because your advertising did not disclose lack of an elevator and we believe we should have been informed in your advertising ; his reply was well "this is an historic building"; of course we received a 3rd floor room with very very steep steps. my wife was more than dismayed to say the least as she just had hip surgery 6 weeks ago so she struggled a bit. Additionally the stairway rails felt sticky , dirty and likewise filthy unclean. the hallway stone table had a significant and rather ugly crack through its center . The water pressure in our shower was weak and terrible. The breakfast cellar was in a weird location. In our opinion About the only thing going for this property beyond a nice front desk manager was its location. Overall after the first night, we could not find a replacement hotel room on short notice will not recommend this place to anyone including our relatives and friends who frequent newport. In fact we should have asked for a refund after the first day.- shame on us for not making this request. So for all these reasons we cannot recommend your place to anyone including of our relatives and friends who frequent newport. In our opinion it hasn't been described in an honest manner and Its maintenance is sub par. This property is very cute and quaint. I was very impressed. The location is great. The breakfast is included and was wonderful. It was quiet and clean. I would absolutely stay again.

Rooms are small. It was fine for a couple but not a lot for relaxing in the room
