Paradox Resort Phuket

Lovely property in a very good area with access to everything. For beach access you have to walk off property and cross the road.

We book three nights at Paradox "Family Two-Bedroom Beachfront Residence" usiing Agoda.com looking forward a beautiful villa by the beach as the picture (even on trip advisor) seems to suggest. However, this picture is completely misrepresented as what you enter is on 1st floor (not ground as this picture suggests) apartment next to a very busy & Noisy road at least till 11pm. Also, pool is not even visible from the beachfront room. it's on the other side and a small one. Moreover its the Music from the Paradox own bar/restrurant makes sure that you cant sleep till 11pm. Furnishing quality is of an apartment and not the 5star hotel room. The saving grace was that after first night hotel manager kindly changed our room to a lower category garden villa, which was way better, peaceful and inside the main hotel. food and service at hotel is otherwise, and thankfully they have an Indian chef who made excellent veg food. Despite a sleepless first night, hotel refused to refund any amount for first night and Nor agoda (despite its written promise) didnt pay anything. we did get refund for the lower category room for two nights. Management should NOT misrepresent this airbnb service apartment as the higest rated and priced room in their property and it should be sold much cheaper to their excellent hotel rooms. Also, they should have refunded part of the first night. They also dont trust their guests if the bill on spa and food goes over deposit as we got a letter on second night to pay deposit given we had utlised our THB 1000 credit well over the limit. Overall, ok, but I would probably not stay here again.

This was a great hotel , it’s under construction but didn’t affect us much during our stay. The location is great for walking to the beach and to town. We rented scooters across the street for like $9 US dollars a day and had the best time! The pool was refreshing with the swim up bar. We had a basic king room but it was close to the lobby and the pool and was very spacious. The hotel was full so we couldn’t upgrade but tbh this room was perfect for us. We definitely would stay again. Oh try the pumpkin with Thai custard dessert it’s delicious

Honeymooners We are staying for 4 nights, already our agent covered our stay. Upon check in the front office asked for a credit card as an insurance of 4k THB and not to be deducted. Unfortunately it was deducted immediately and they need 14 days to refund. Of course my credit card is in USD so i will cover the charges of exchange as well. The room was dirty, the ground, the jacuzzi pool and even the bed sheets and pillows wasnt changed and we found hair and black stains. On daily basis we have to call the house keeping to make up our room. The hotel is busy as they claim but I assure everybody that they cannot handle a busy operations. Too many mosquitoes inside the room since we check in, my wife and i struggled to sleep. Over all i dont recommend this hotel at all. Breakfast is excellent Mint restaurant is excellent Staff are friendly But the hotel isnt clean specially the rooms and the jacuzzi.

Really good and friendly service. Good food, no issues whatsoever, I can only recommend this place.

Nice experience

This property was in a great location, right next to the beach. Staff was wonderful. There is construction going on but you couldnt hear a thing.

Great place to stay and attentive staff. Lovely breakfast options.
