Hotel Alexander I

I found this Hotel to be exactly what I was looking for in my short City Break. Staff were very helpful, Excellent choice of Breakfast. Very Clean. Ideal for a few Days break. Would not hesitate to book here in the future. Hotel is central to the City less than a five minute walk to Market Square/ Old Town. From there, you are able to work out & very quickly on visitor spots Tou have in your Diary.

Well located good value hotel. Staff efficient and helpful but could be cheerier! Tea and coffee facilities in room limited to one day supply regardless of how long you stay.

Room tea and coffee was only available on the first day. Reception was manned but only one individual was helpful. No bar area.

close to the main square and very quiet. the only thing was i asked for more coffee and milk, but they said you only get enough for 1 day!!! had to buy milk and coffee sachets from the shop.

Nice hotel close to the main square. Only a short walk for several shops and cafes.

Stayed for 3 nights. Pleasant check in. Helpful with booking our trips. Room clean with mini fridge. Only one towel . Would have liked a hand towel for bathroom. Breakfast was hit and miss. Firstly 2 out of 3 mornings there was no where to sit. I asked the girl on duty was there anywhere else to eat our breakfast but she just srugged her shoulders not caring. I spotted a girl bringing out more cake and just lifting it onto tray with no gloves on then proceed to clear tables. She even wiped her hands in her apron. Very central hotel. Would reccomend this hotel

Me and 6 friend had the best time every thing is close to you and it is very clean

First, the good parts. It's in a good location, close to all the sights but in a quiet area. It's also very clean and the staff were reasonably friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just ok as far as selection. However, the breakfast staff did an amazing job keeping everything at the buffet well stocked, and they were very quick to clear away empty dishes. There weren't enough tables for everyone, though, and two of the four days I was there, people were waiting for others to leave before they could sit down to eat. My room was small (even by European standards) but clean. It didn't have a mini fridge, as advertised, but that wasn't a big problem for me. The air conditioning was great to have, since I was visiting during a heat wave. Unfortunately, housekeeping kept opening the windows and letting the cool air out. I finally put out the "do not disturb" sign to keep housekeeping out! Also, I noticed the first night that the shower drain wasn't working well and informed the front desk. Although they sent someone to check it immediately, it never was fixed. I sometimes had to pause my shower when the water became ankle deep and started spilling out of onto the floor. Please fix the drain in room 230! Overall, it's a good value for the price, and offers a clean, quiet place to sleep.

For a city break it was an excellent choice and location

The hotel was clean and comfortable, although a couple of more comfortable chairs in the room would have been a great improvement.
