Hotel Alexander I

This is the second time I have used this hotel and I would certainly use it again

Hotel was spotlessly clean breakfast was fantastic plenty to choose from

The sewer smell coming from the bathroom drains/toilet made the entire room smell so bad. The mattress needed to be replaced 10 years ago, it's totally like a hammock. Staff: very nice. Breakfast was included and VERY delicious.

The hotel is close to the market town the staff were polite and friendly however the coffee and tea facility in room was put out on the first day but was not replenished after the first day hence during our 4 nights we had to purchase our own tea/coffee overall a satisfactory hotel . the breakfast thou was excellent with plenty of choices and it was a help yourself service

Very central. Tea and coffee facilities but coffee and tea sample left for one day . Hotel policy not to top up daily . Disappointing.

Excellent location and great staff. The front desk was super helpful.

Modern, clean, good breakfast buffet, 10 min walk from Old Town

Didn't get the Romantic Room we had ordered and paid for an told it had been double booked. The room we were given instead was fine but just would have preferred what we thought we were getting

The hotel is in an excellent location around 5 to 10 minutes stroll to the main market square. It provides functional clean accommodation and breakfast is good quality continental with some hot food options. Good coffee and ample seating. We had a double room which felt cluttered by the addition of what I imagine to be a z-bed type chair thing possibly for when the room was to accommodate a third guest. It took up space which for us was unnecessary but it it was for a 3rd guest it would be a very tight squeeze!! The bathroom was small but adequate and clean towel( one each) was provided daily on our 3 night stay. The only thing for me which would put me off is there wasn't a bar which for those evenings when you might not wish to venture far or indeed have a nightcap before bed would be an advantage . otherwise functional economical accommodation in a good location
