"Exceeded my expectations"

Finally, I found a hotel that I can give 5 stars to. I am a picky traveler with extremely high standards. Hilton Garden Inn Panama City has exceeded my expectation. The customer service is fantastic! Starting with the front/reception desk workers to housekeeping and restaurant personnel, everyone made sure I was taken care of during my stay. I definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family!

"Business stay could have been better"

Reading the other reviews I'm not sure we stayed at the same hotel. we like Hilton Garden Inns for their consistency and breakfast. This hotel was centrally located to our job site. The hotel was clean and the rooms well kept. They had daily housekeeping if desired (we optioned to just have the towels changed and trash removed). The breakfast was a big issue. We normally order a la carte from the menu, but that was not available during all 3 days of our stay and the $10 Food and Beverage credit will not cover the $17 plus tax buffet (come on Hilton, you need to adjust our F&B credit to match the increase in restaurant prices or go back to free breakfast if you value us as Elite members). They appear to be short staffed, since there was only 1 person in the breakfast area all 3 days, he was cooking, waiting tables and bussing tables. Finally with the exception of the day time front desk attendant, all the front desk, bar tender and restaurant personnel need additional training in customer service/interaction. It doesn't take much to look up and greet your guests when they walk by. Also, we like to be recognized for our loyalty and were not.
