Saigon Morin Hotel

Hôtel mythique et plein de charme, très central pour les visites. Tout était parfait et nous avons pris une chambre à prix très raisonnable vu le service. On craignait que ce soit un peu guindé mais pas du tout, le personnel était aux petits soins avec efficacité et jovialité. Le jardin du petit déjeuner est magnifique. Je recommande aussi le bureau des excursions, Madame Ni est une belle personne - très efficace - très prévenante et finalement les excursions en voiture privées de l’hôtel sont d’un bon rapport qualité prix. Que dire de plus ?

The hotel is a really elegant old French colonial hotel, over 125 years old. When I walked into our suite, it took my breath away. The floor was highly polished real dark wood, the furniture was similar to that from a french chateau, oozing style and sophistication. (Check out the photographs with this post). Now this may come as a surprise, but buildings 125 years old, grow old like people, and this buidling is no exception. When we were there, they were just finishing painting the interior courtyard in a beautifull shade of cream and white. I have noted some of the other reviews, about damp etc but I certainly did not have any adverse experiences, in fact the reverse. Yes some of the equipment may be old, but it all worked perfectly and better that some of the other hotels we have stayed in, really what do you expect in an old hotel........the clue is in the word OLD. To sit in such a 'period' spacious centrally located hotel, at such a reasonable cost was a delight. The tour guide in the reception was a mind of usefull information, and just added to the ambience of the hotel. Well worth a visit, I would stay here again when I return to Hue.

L’emplacement est top, le beau jardin permet de profiter d’un délicieux petit déjeuner au calme et la piscine est aussi agréable. Les chambres sont très grandes avec un parquet magnifique . Merci au personnel pour l’attention donnée lors de l’anniversaire de ma fille elle ne l’oubliera jamais 😍❤️

Certains mobiliers ou équipements mériteraient une touche de modernité comme les tissus des fauteuils ou les voilages et peut être une peinture murale à prévoir tout en gardant l’âme de cet hôtel qui a plus de 100 ans

Personalet var ikke særligt velkomne. Og man følte sig ikke set og hørt. Vi måtte selv hente vores kufferter da de havde glemt dem og det var ikke fordi de havde travlt

The truth, here is our experience at the Hotel Morin. On arrival reception staff friendly at greeting us, had to change our room as they booked 2 singles, we got still 2 beds 1 double and 1 single, Room 225 but got more Mould, Mould everywhere I could smell it when we sat on the bed then in the middle of the night woke up full blown eyes swollen, sneezing and asthma. If I was in real estate would said renovatiors delight. No face washers, shower Curtin, leaking shower tap, old bath, leaking air con, and tv no tv connection. We we checked out first thing and went else where.
