Location was good as just round the corner from mall. It has staggered parking at 1000 yen per night. Breakfast was good with both western and Japanese cuisine

"Avoid the "Quintessa Hotel Sasebo""

I've stayed here many times and it pretty bland and not as service oriented as other Sasebo options. location is not great and no complimentary breakfast. The atmosphere, cleanliness, noise level, and rooms are standard for Japan but the service is subpar. Transportation is ok if you have a rental otherwise not good. My most recent trip I booked the Quintessa Hotel Sasebo for business trip on their website. When my travel dates changed I had to cancel 10 days in advance. I emailed and phoned to cancel and they still charged me $200 USD. Our team does a lot of travel from the US to Sasebo and I am removing the Quintessa Hotel Sasebo form the list of places to stay. There are many places with better service, location, and amenities.
