Homewood Suites by Hilton Tulsa-South

The hotel staff were really nice. The room was nice except some cleanliness issues. Fridge was dirty and had hair in it, even in freezer. Shower was large but the safety bar in it was broken and rusted off of the wall. The trim was gone in a couple of places in the room. But it was a good visit.

I rarely leave bad reviews. The buffet was good, the area was nice and the coffee bars were well stocked. As for the bad: The kitchen was significantly under stocked (I.e. 3 plates, 2 forks and 1 pot). Except for the bathroom and kitchen sink, nothing was clean. Everything was sticky or dusty. The sheets had not been cleaned. They had hair and grease stains on them. Our toilet made a horrible ear-piercing noise for 10-60 minutes after ever flush. We were told that maintenance was coming the next day but that didn’t happen. It finally resolved on its own the second day.

The room was dusty. Dust is growing out of the vents and the ceiling fan was covered in dust. Room was not properly cleaned in months. Pull out bed is very old the cloth on the chair is peeling and it was dirty. The television and remotes did not work. Front desk had to be called for assistance. Worse experience ever in a Homewood Suites.

I like the accommodations. My only complaints are that the toilet flapper was broken and a couple of lights were out.

The stay was fine, there was an odd smell in the room. Everything seemed clean but it was more out dated than i expected. Breakfast was great, staff was friendly. I wasnt pleased with the drinking that was happening at the pool, so we weren't able to take our kiddo out to swim.

Our suite had a half shower curtain on a full bath tub. Every shower resulted in pool of water on the floor. Also, the pullout sofa was an ancient spring bed that was very uncomfortable to sleep on in addition to being very filthy with stains. They need to change that sofa bed.

Our room was a very nice size. We had a one bedroom suite with a separate living area, which came in really handy. The bath and hand towels were thick and of higher quality, which we really appreciated. The tissues were even better quality than most hotels. The amenities in the room itself were descent (i.e. the body soap didn't smell cheap like most hotels soaps do, and there was shampoo and conditioner provided, although we didn't use them). The kitchen had everything one would need to enjoy their stay.

We used contactless check-in and therefore chose our own room, but when we got to the hotel we had been switched to a lower floor (which we didn't want) and was told that the room we chose wasn't supposed to be available due to maintenance issues earlier that day and it had not yet been cleaned. The hotel on a whole had not been kept up at all - major tears in the hallway carpet; our room's couch was covered in so many stains that we had to put towels / blankets down to even feel comfortable sitting on it; cracks in the refrigerator, etc... very poor upkeep in general. I can "excuse," to an extent, a hotels wear and tear; however, what I cannot excuse is poor housekeeping. The stains on our couch could have been professionally cleaned, the hair in our bathroom behind the door and on the soap holder at the sink should have been caught, and the tile floors in the kitchen and bath area were "sticky." We could hear & see everywhere we walked, because our footprint was left in the thick "film" from either not cleaning well enough, or poor cleaning supplies. We notified the front desk right away of these issues and were told our room would be cleaned while we were gone the next day, but nothing was touched after being gone for 12 hours. The breakfast was simply not good. There weren't that many choices to begin with, which was fine, but the few choices that they did have should have been of better quality and tasted better.

I have been at this hotel for four days and had nothing less than a wonderful experience. The front desk employees provide great customer service. My room was very clean upon arrival. The king size bed is very comfortable and has four comfortable pillows. The full size kitchen includes a great working stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and full size refrigerator. The room is very spacious and reminds me of a studio apartment. The hotel has a delicious complimentary breakfast and a social on Wednesday evenings that provides free salad, fruit, cheese, crackers, drinks, wine and beer. The hotel has a large outdoor pool, a fitness center and a laundry room. There is a snack suite that is located by the front desk where snacks and drinks can be purchased. This hotel is located in a peaceful and safe area. I highly recommend this hotel!
