Tidelands Caribbean Hotel and Suites

The water was off for almost an entire day. The hair dryer in the room also did not work. We've stayed at this property for several years and this is the first time we've had major issues.

It has a wonderful beach and ocean view

If I could do 0 I would. Racists and rude. They just want to take your money and go to extreme lengths to kick you out. Even the police said it happens very frequently here.

I have been staying here for the last 3-4 years and it is a great place. Nice location and easy access.

The oceanfront balcony was incredible.

The room was very spacious and comfortable and it was great having a side view of the ocean and just being a few feet from the boardwalk! On the down side they only clean rooms on Wednesday and Saturday...so I called Wednesday morning to be sure our room was being cleaned and they assured me it would be. When we got back to our room at 9:00 pm, nothing had been touched...no new towels, no toilet paper..etc! I called the desk and they did bring up towels but made no effort to reschedule cleaning our room...so room wasn't cleaned or supplies replenished for the whole week we were there! Also early morning truck deliveries were right outside our room which made sleeping past 8 am pretty difficult!

Nice big room but it’s starting to show it’s age, especially the bathroom!

This is a nice hotel with a friendly staff and is very conveniently located on the boardwalk. We stayed Sept 10th through Sept 13th and with parking, we sometimes ended up in the overflow parking lot which is about two blocks away, because of some type of motorcycle event going on in the area with hundreds of bikers in the area. Our dislike is that the bathtub/ shower does not have a "grab" bar to prevent a slip and fall.
