Anantara Hoi An Resort

Hoi An Flood Assistance We had 5 nights planned in Hoi An staying at the Anantara Resort. First two days it rained a bit, then the rain got heavy and the Old Town and the resort began to flood. The management of the Anantara Resort moved us from our ground floor room to a higher level room as a precaution. Overnight things just got worse and worse and we eventually decided to leave early and stay in Da Nang in anticipation of our flight to Singapore. I would like to commend the staff and management of the Anantara Resort for their commitment to the safety of their hotel guests. Their communication and ingenuity in getting everyone out of the resort today was nothing short of amazing. We, along with all of our luggage, were transported by boat to the front of the resort, then we were transferred to a longer motor boat which took us to an area outside of the flood zone. Yes, it was a little scary, but the resort staff were reassuring and helping everyone feel safe. My sincere thanks to everyone at the Anantara Resort for everything they did for us and all the other guests in the evacuation efforts.

They made everything to make my stay the best possible. The room was very big and comfortable, the staff is very nice, breakfast is perfect. Best location in town for a five star. I loved my stay and would definitely be back

We loved our stay at the Anantara in Hoi An. It is in a great location as it is within a 10 minute walk to the old town. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops close by. The staff were incredibly attentive. We loved the welcome massage! What a way to start our trip.

Attention to detail by the staff is top level. Spa services are some of the best we've ever had. Food is great. Finally, the pool is so relaxing. Topped off by a very convenient location. It was our second time staying at the Anantara Hoi An Resort. We'll be back.

Our stay at the Anantara exceeded our expectations and was an unexpected highlight of our trip, primarily because of the attentive staff and the beautiful atmosphere of the resort. Staff members would greet us by name when we returned from an outing, the servers at breakfast were attentive and welcoming, and the front desk staff were all helpful throughout our stay. The location of the Anantara makes it a hidden gem, conveniently close to downtown, but we felt far away from the hustle and bustle. The views along the river are beautiful- having the restaurants along the river front is a wonderful dining experience. After a full day of exploring Hoi An, we enjoyed relaxing in the loungers right outside the rooms. Everything at the Anantara was spectacular -the breakfast buffet was plentiful and everything was delicious, the rooms were spacious, we loved the sitting area in the room and the staff was friendly and warm. We would definitely return to this resort.

This was our first time to Vietnam and we were unsure which hotel to book so we stuck with a well regarded brand. The hotel is in an excellent location overlooking the river, making it an easy walk to old town. The hotel has beautifully kept gardens and is very tranquil. Our room was next to the pool which we found very convenient and there were no noise issues. We could go for a dip and then lounge on our terrace. The room itself was large with a separate sitting area inside as well as an outdoor terrace with two day beds and an overhead fan. The bathroom was clean and spacious although there was no bath - I felt like the bathroom was not overly luxurious. When we were there there were some renovations taking place so unfortunately for the majority of our stay breakfast was not overlooking the river. We did have breakfast once overlooking the river and it was lovely. We ate twice at the riverside restaurant option and both times were excellent . The staff were actually happy for us to order an item we wanted from the other restaurant and served it to us riverside. The food was very reasonably priced considering the setting. There are however a myriad of eating options nearby - we had $3.00 Bahn Mi and they were amazing. I did not use the Spa, I went to the hotel next door as they had a special deal. Im sure the Anantara Spa is outstanding however as that is what their properties are known for. The hotel had bikes available to use - we didn't but they were offered to us most days. I did try to use the tailor when we were there but they seemed never to be available. Obviously there are plenty of them in town but I thought it may be more convenient using the in house tailor. We changed money through the hotel and their rate was competitive. We found all the staff to be lovely however their English was sometimes a bit hit and miss. We would be happy to stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The room was really nice, and the breakfast was the best I had in all the hotels I stayed at in Vietnam — and I stayed in some very nice ones. But what truly stood out was the kindness of the staff. I already miss Le from the breakfast team, who greeted us every morning with a smile, remembered what we liked, and made us feel completely at home. On our last night, we even received some lovely gifts from the hotel — such a thoughtful touch

We really enjoyed our two night stay in this resort. Setting is tranquil next to the river. A short walk into Hoi An old town. Great breakfast buffet. Booked airport transfers through the hotel from and to Da Nang airport which worked a charm. Had dinner both nights in riverside cafe. Great setting and good menu. Front desk very helpful in fixing a couple of minor problems we had, mainly the guide with poor hygiene they booked for us for a city walking tour. But overall an excellent stay.
