Holiday Inn Express Syracuse-Fairgrounds by IHG

I was hoping to come to a 9/10 hotel with a 10/10 hotel as advertised. Unfortunately, I checked into my room and a cockroach appeared on the adjoining door and crawled back in disappearing through the door crack. I was not trying to get crawled on in the night and who knows if more were there. The front desk person was helpful but it's a letdown that the only room left had two queen beds. I love hotels for massive king beds so it's disappointing and not what I paid for. The staff is lovely and knowledgeable and the breakfast is delicious.

This hotels remodel is really nice but not all the rooms are done. They used to have a shuttle to the NYS fair this year they did not. Not sure I would stay there again b/c of this.

Nice and clean easily accessible

Stayed for two nights to attend the fair. It was clean and nice. Staff were great and helpful.
