Hotel Sigiriya

The view from the pool area is about the only good / great thing about this hotel. Everything else is avg or below avg. The worst thing being the food. And the staff at the restaurant really hates you if you complain or ask them for hot food! Lol. Most of the items are just cold all the time. We stayed 2 nights and had 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner. All 3 experiences were bad. Especially the dinner. I will not recommend this place.

It's a really nice hotel. Stunning landscape. Right in front of the Sigiriya rock. Dilmi and her team really looked after us. They all were very polite and helpful at all times. Overall super!

Amazing hotel with the view of lions rock..the pool area is very clean and maintained..the bar overlooking the pool has the beat drinks...the staff is very friendly and kind...food at the restaurant was delicious..we loved the Christmas spread It was a buffet with more than 100 varaities Definitely recommend

When we booked this place, we weren’t entirely sure if it was the right choice for us, but we were pleasantly surprised the moment we arrived. The restaurant area was spacious and lively, featuring wonderful live music that evening. The artist playing the guitar and saxophone was truly amazing, creating a vibrant atmosphere that felt no less than a 5-star experience. The food was delicious, with plenty of options and impressive live counters being the highlight. Our room was clean and offered a charming village-style experience. The property itself is expansive, with enough activities to keep you engaged for an entire day. The hotel service was exceptional—they went above and beyond to make our little one’s birthday truly special. Thank you very much for such a memorable stay! We will definitely be coming back again.

We had an unforgettable stay here. We are a family from Singapore, and due to the recent flood and landslide, we were stranded and unable to leave. During this difficult and uncertain time, the hotel team went above and beyond for us. The staff were not just attentive — they were genuinely caring. They checked on us often, made sure we were safe, and helped us feel supported when everything around us was overwhelming. The manager was exceptionally kind and approachable, always ready to help with a smile and reassurance. The hotel itself is beautiful — the view is calming and breathtaking, offering a sense of peace even in a stressful situation. The food was another highlight: delicious, fresh, and prepared with care. Despite the challenges happening around us, this hotel made us feel comforted and looked after. This is the best hotel in sigiriya area. Foods are good. Rooms also very clean. Very friendly staff, they treated us always in smiley face. We will be come back again. Highly recommend. Good hotel. And you can see the view of sigiriya lion rock. Best hotel. 👍👍👍👍

Just finished our stay at Sigiriya Hotel, and honestly, it was such a lovely experience. The location itself is unbeatable waking up with a clear view of the Sigiriya Rock felt magical. The whole place has this calm, nature-filled vibe that instantly relaxes you. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spaced out beautifully like a little village, giving so much privacy. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful, always smiling and ready to assist with anything. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was just soothing. If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic stay close to Sigiriya, this is definitely a place I’d recommend. We really enjoyed it.

My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon. The staff were kind and courteous and gave us a special honeymoon cake the first night we were there. They made us feel welcome, the buffet was lovely and the room was clean and tidy. Great value for money for a stay right in the heart of Sigiriya!

Amazing stay by the view of lios rock...the hotel located in a calm and peaceful environment and garden from the room was well maintained and clean Rooms also clean and spacious ...food was really delicious and specially the service was five stars ...definitely coming back
