Hotel Sigiriya

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. The food quality was excellent with a good variety, and the service was outstanding. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always attentive to our needs. Overall, it was a memorable experience and we truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommended.

We wanted to go to Sigiriya for our trip to Sri Lanka and the hotel seemed to have a stunning viewpoint towards Sigiriya rock. On arrival, the view from the pool area didn't disappoint. The room we had was pool facing. It was a nice sized room with nice bed, sheets and pillows. The bathroom is a bit cramped but it sufficed. The breakfast looks great. But on closer inspection, it was an average selection of food. Strange not to have an egg station and only provide boiled eggs. The fruit and yoghurt section was in a sealed off refrigerated section which was a nice touch. The one gripe I have was the Saturday night live music. It was so loud, and I don't think there were too many people there, that it sounded like someone had their TV on full volume right next to the bed. I was so tired and deaf in one ear so I managed to sleep but it was annoying as we were trying to watch something on TV and the music basically drowned out what was on. Maybe they could just reduce the volume a little? Overall, a nice stay.

The hotel located in the heart of sigiriya and it's easy to travel to all the destinations near by.hitel staff go all the way out to make Ur stay memorable.. specially their food was so delicious, hoppers they make right Infront of you in the morning was scrumptious So does the rooms were really nice Definitely recommending

We weren't supposed to stay here, but the luxury hotel we had booked was flooded during Cyclone Ditwah. So many hotels were closed and there was a lot of uncertainty on the Island, and I think this hotel did a good job with managing expectations. That said, this is a very typical traveler hotel, nothing special. Its very large with lots of rooms (and lots of walking to them), and because of the size, the buffet is huge. The food was fine (nothing spectacular). The rooms are very dated, dark, drafty (we were there during a cold rain spell) and didnt feel very clean (they weren't unclean, just didnt feel clean). If this is all your budget will allow, this would work, but don't expect luxury.

We had spent two nights at hotel sigiriya. And we had a delicious lunch and dinner buffet at the tamarind tree restaurant. The restaurant staff is very friendly and very pleasant. The rooms are very comfortable and clear at all. And also there is a nice view with the lion rock. Definitely worthy stay and we will come again with our family...🥰🥰🥰💗💗💗

Very nice hotel with the absolute best view of the Sigiriya rock. But the best was the food served in there. Both breakfast & dinner. From the variety to the taste both were top notch
