Sort the lift problem out and youd have 10/10

Staff were very helpful and understanding. A decent breakfast buffet. Property needs refurbishment, loud water pump that goes off at 7 am, lift, sauna / steam room. It functional, rooms are run down

Shower in the room had no pressure

On a day that I wish to forget in a hurry I arrived at the hotel in a glum mood which was greatly improved by the fantastic receptionist who was friendly, professional and efficient. The room was superb, great bed, lovely view and all the amenities required for a comfortable and relaxing stay, brilliant television and Wi-Fi. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of the town centre and convenient for the shops, bars and restaurants plus the beach. Also with great public transport connections with bus and railway stations. Highly recommend that you stay here.

The hotel is of its time and looks a little bit tired. However, the room was of a good size and clean, bed VERY comfortable and as a room for the night it was perfect. I did not use the other hotel facilities so cannot comment on them

The hotel is in a great position and very clean for such a big and old hotel. Unfortunately yet again we we,re booked in to the smallest room possible which is dissapointing having booked this two day stay a year ago. Also it says they have a jaccuzi, steam room, sauna, swimming pool with showers. Only the swimming pool is in operation ! Lastly i dont think the lift has worked for over four years for customers.

Lovely Hotel, great facilities and in the heart of Newquay close to shopping streets and Beaches are 2 minute walk away, will definitely be going again, staff are very friendly and helpful also

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Room clean and tidy. Very dated needing an upgrade in the communal/lobby areas. Carpets badly worn on stairs. Pool badly in need of an upgrade, changing rooms disgusting! Such a shame as could be a lovely hotel with great original features.

Excellen hotel in a brilliant location...right in the centre of the hustle and bustle....Staff were kind and very helpful. Will definately return again next year summer. Robbie.
