We stayed here one night while taking the train in. Very convenient to the train station in Brindisi and walkable to the historic area! Very nice staff.

We did not think we needed to pay an extra 35 euro for someone to sleep in a quad room. That seemed like an excessive charge. Front desk lady was very nice and breakfast was good. Overall hotel was very pricey but worked out.

We enjoyed all the comfort of this beautiful modern Hotel Palazzo Virgilio! To our surprise, this Hotel was a few steps to the Train Station , of which we took the advantage to do day trips to nearby Tourist cities like Lecce and Polignano a Mare! There was so many other options and opportunities to explore more places, but unfortunately because of the extreme heat advisory, we did what we could . This Hotel Palazzo Virgilio was very accommodating! Check In was very professional and quick. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Every morning, there was a variety of Hot buffet, cheese, sweets, fruit , espresso coffee and cappuccino prepared by Salvatore! A wonderful caring happy person that greeted everyone with a smile and great advice! We would definitely return to this Hotel Palazzo Virgilio if we return to Brindisi, if we do another Cruise. Brindisi is a Port City that has so much to offer and a great location to embark and disembark for a Mediterranean Cruise ! We recommend this Hotel Palazzo Virgilio to all our friends and anyone that is traveling to Brindisi to board a Cruise ! Thank you to all the staff at this beautiful Hotel Palazzo Virgilio , that treated us like family and made our stay very enjoyable! Bruno from Canada

Extremely helpful staff, happy to go the extra mile to help. Onsite parking. Terrific breakfast - the custard filled croissants were delectable. The hotel is close to the station which is good for people arriving or leaving by train, but inevitably there are a few low life types skulking about and if you have a window open it can be noisy. Restaurant Pantagruele 10 minutes walk away is a useful local resource. Have the tasting sample of primi piatti.
