The Inn on Loch Lomond

Friendly welcoming staff, clean comfortable room and great food with a variety of dietary options available.

Hotel was spotless. Staff friendly and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. Bathroom had a heated floor which I thought was a great touch. Toiletries were of a high standard in the bathroom. Not a complaint as such but the TV in the room only had 5 channels. The hotels restaurant was first class. Portion sizes were big and I'd definitely recommend any of the fish dishes. Restaurant has views of the hills and loch Lomond depending on were your seated. Breakfast in the morning was great also. I liked that the hotel gave you an option of what time you'd like to book in for breakfast. As for covid precautions, these were all in place with sanitizer and one ways systems etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Room in the Beach house was great, food we OK and Polite.

Great room with lovely bathroom and amazing view of the lock. Staff were very friendly and went over and above to help with all queries. The breakfast choices were great (best we've seen during the pandemic) and the breakfast always delicious. We did have dinner one night but thought it was slightly overpriced for what we got, for example ordered the homemade steak pie but it was presented as a steak stew with a pastry triangle. Colquhuon's restaurant in their sister hotel is amazing and would highly recommend booking there instead for dinner.

Excellent well organised receptionist, who responded to our requests cheerfully and efficiently. Room was bright and extremely clean, given the current challenges. Typical pub / inn fare, whole and flavoursome.n

The key card was only programmed for one night when I was staying for 2. It was a long walk back to reception with 2 flights of stairs at the end of a busy day. The buffet hot breakfast wasn't hot enough.

Found it hard to work tv I’m room. Instructions didn’t Help Couldn’t close window in bedroom Vege burger was so hot I hurt my lips when I sank me teeth into the bun and hot fat Ejected out either side (just glad I wasn’t a child!)
