Kona Reef Resort

I really enjoyed my time at the Kona Resort. The Front desk employees were very helpful and courteous. The complex was kept neat and cleaned. I will stay at the Kona resort whenever I come back to the big Island

They were very accommodating for our specific needs including a wheelchair

We had such a wonderful stay at the Kona Reef Resort. The room was lovely and spacious, with great views from the enormous balcony. The air-con was superb too, as was the pool area and very helpful front desk staff. Rita was particularly great, as she helped to get some clothing back that we’d accidentally left in the room. I would certainly recommend this fabulous hotel to anyone....we loved it!

Property was nice. Right on the ocean with great views of the coastline. Unit itself was nice as well, but the one we got was a garden unit that was right next to the pool/hot tub area. It always felt as though people could look right into the condo, so privacy was a bit of a concern. For the most part though, everything was great. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable stay in the Kona-Kailua area.

Everything was exactly as stated. Property manager, Rita thoroughly explained amenities, rules, and attractions in the area, etc. I was assigned a room on the third floor with a great view that I wasn't expecting. But getting therer was a bit awkward since elevator didn't go all the way up to that floor.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kona Reef. The location is excellent - right on the water but also close to the center of town so it was an easy walk to shops & restaurants. The space was small but had everything we needed, including in-suite laundry which was very handy. It’s a bit older but you can see they are working to maintain it. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The only thing we would change if we came back would be to pay a little more for an ocean view room - ours was tucked away around a corner and had a view of a wall; we would have loved even a glimpse of the ocean.

Convieneny location very nice pool & bbq area. I would recommend this condo and will be staying here next time I visit Hawaii

Property was clean and in good order. Ocean view, pool, wine and cheese every evening...good value.
