Britannia Bournemouth Hotel

Good experience

The property was dirty and outdated. The bathroom was dirty when we got to the hotel, dirty toilet and pubs on the toilet seat. The sink was dirty! Multiple stains in the carpet and on the walls. Mould and damp on the walls and dust all around! The housekeeping put clean towels on the floor outside of the room in the morning,when we questioned management about why towels were put on the floor instead of them knocking on the door to give guests the towels, management stated that is what they always do! As if they would use towels from the floor in their own homes! I have never witnessed anything so disgusting! This hotel seriously needs to be reviewed about wether they are allowed to continue to run.

Stayed for 3 nights in room 430, the room was fine, a few stains on the carpet where people had dropped tea bags and one of the chairs had what looked like a coffee spill. The lifts were a bit cramped with 2 people and 2 suitcases. The breakfast (buffet style) was good and the evening meals were good. Over all, good value for the money we paid. Could maybe do with a spruce up, but it is only a 3* hotel afternoon all.

Hotel is old and in bad condition, there was leak in the bathroom and the wallpapers were peeling off. The ceiling in the main room was damp. We found hair in the bath. Would not recommend and wont be returning.

The hotel was in a good location near the beach and a short walk to the pier. Other then that I would not recommend this hotel. The room are dirty and out dated beds uncomfortable, carpets old and again dirty. The lifts are big enough for one person and the car park is shocking small for the number of guests that we’re staying people parked anywhere.

Verry dated and not very clean in room not a did not have a good sleep due to extractor fan outside window no place to park car as car park to small.

Room was a little on the small side but adequate, generally clean & tidy.

There was nothing that was nice about this hotel at all, everything looked old, dated, dirty and we ended up walking out and staying somewhere else, and for a room with a sea view, that is a joke, with a massive tree and a block of flats and a gap in between you could just see the sea, it was just horrible.

This hotel feels dated and unloved from the second you walk in. It requires a refurb. Flat pillows, rubbish still left in the room bins from previous guests and I didnt feel safe using the lift. The receptionist at check in was friendly and polite. Will choose alternative hotel in Bournemouth next time.
