Asteria Hotel

Hotellet ligger sentralt ved bredden av den vakre kanalen Fontanka. Gangavstand til hovedgaten Nevskiy Prospekt og mange av de historiske severdighetene, palasser, museer og kirker. Personalet er vennlig og hjelpsomme og snakker godt engelsk. Rommene er enkle, fine bad og godt renhold. Et godt valg for en langweekend

It was a pleasent stay in a nice area. Hotels is simple but clean and tidy, has few useful services such as room service, laundry, city tours, cooler with a drinking water at the floor. They also have brought me kettle and cups to the room for free by request. It is important to know, that there are standard rooms with a river view, which is more pleasent and yard view, which is more silent. If you have some preferences, you can let hotel know about them. As hotel had central location, taxi was quite cheap from the railway station. I was satisfied with a price and quality

The Astoria Hôtel is well positioned for exploring the city centre. However, when we arrived they had not added the extra bed to the room for our son but I was able to show the hotels.com booking confirmation to show it was booked and paid for. On the second day my wife wanted to go back to the room at about 3pm to rest. The room had not been made up and it wasn’t made up until about 6pm. It meant she couldn’t really rest while expecting the cleaner to arrive at any moment. It is a friendly little hotel though and well priced.

Avoid if not Russian. There was next to no communication from hotel before arrival. This made completing of necessary visa documents very difficult and ultimately more expensive as I had to employ a visa agent as a result. It was also not reassuring to arrive and bring uncertain of whether the hotel was expecting me or not. My whole experience prior to arriving was difficult. On arrival and during our stay in founder the hotel basic but acceptable for you purpose. A small detail of difficulty is that the rooms are not supplied with hot drink making facilities as would be expected as standard, especially as a visitor staying during winter.

I have stayed at Asteria Hotel several times. Each time, my stay have always been pleasant. Friendly staff, the hotel is clean and the location is convenient, lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The view of the Fontana River is magnificent. I recommend this hotel.

El wifi podria funcionar mejor

Das ist ein guter Hotel wenn man nicht viel Zeit in im vergangt. Aber es ist sauber.

St Petersburg was wonderful, but this hotel was too far to walk from the centre unless you are extremely fit. And we did not look forward to returning at the end of a day's sight-seeing

J'ai été déçu par mon séjour à l'hôtel Asteria. En ce qui concerne le personnel, il a été très accueillant et à l'écoute, et nous a bien aidé à organiser quelques sorties. Les femmes de ménages étaient aussi très flexibles sur le moment de nettoyer la chambre (il y avait un lève-très-tard dans l'équipe). J'ajoute que j'avais envoyé un email avant pour demander une chambre sans plumes dans la literie et que j'avais reçu une réponse rapide et positive. Donc très content de l'équipe sur place. Par contre, c'était beaucoup trop cher pour le niveau de l'hôtel. Celui-ci est vieillot, la chambre était vraiment petite avec une moquette et un papier peint qui n'ont pas dû être changés depuis 15 ans ou plus, et la salle de bain à l'avenant (mais bien propre). Pour expliquer ma déception, je dois dire que je venais de passer 5 jours à Moscou au Marriott, bien plus luxueux (avec piscine et sauna), dans une chambre au moins 3 fois plus grande et pour un prix inférieur de 30% à celui de l'Asteria. Comme je n'ai pas de point de comparaison à St Petersbourg, il s'agit peut-être d'une différence générale entre les deux villes ???
