Club Hotel Eilat

It was the worst service i've ever experienced. We waited more than 2 hours at the front desk to do the check-in. The receptionist said they would send a VIP package to our room for the delay, which they never sent (the "VIP package" was a couple of things that were already included in the room detail).. The room was prepared with extra beds (we were just a couple), leaving no space in the room to move around. We complained about that and they said that would remove the beds (and close the sofabed). We went back to the room after 5 hours and everything was still the same.When we went to the front desk again they not only were really rude, and offer to talk to someone the following day. Also asked us if we wanted to go to a different hotel. It was midnight! The following day we tried to fill a complain again, and they sent us to a specific area, where you were able to find other guest, but nobody giving them attention, as the office was empty. Everything related to the service was a disaster.

The hotel is very dated. The size of the family suite was suitable though. The check-in was a humiliating experience. Hundreds of people waiting on line, in a conference room on the second floor, in a make-shift check-in area. Breakfast was a typical lsraeli breakfast, wtih good choices but, on Shabbat there is NO Coffee! Barely wanted to use the stairway in the mail buidling because it was so filty

Checkin very slow and manual. Very large hotel and were not properly inducted to the hotel and its facilities

Staff refused to provide me a packed breakfast unless I had asked before by email and received confirmation about that

The only problem was the piped music that continued until 10.30 We were exhausted and really needed an early night.The music carried on and on just below our balcony. Drove me mad. Then it was swutched on again at 8.00AM .Why did they feel we needed to wake up then.?Surely we can be our own boss as to what music we listen to and when.

I have traveled all over and stayed at many different hotels...this was by far the worst. At checkin room was late, staff was very rude. Tried to overcharge me $100.00 USD stating the exchange rate had changed. Upon opening the door to the room, was over whelmed with the smell of vomit. Called the front desk to ask for a different room. They said the would have to call me back. While waiting tried to connect to the WiFi. There was none. This is a big issue as I need it for work and I had even called the hotel before I arrived to make sure they had good Internet. The front desk called back and said they did not have a different room and said they would have to have someone reclean the room. I asked about the Internet and they said they do not offer Internet to their guests except in the Lobby (their website and Expedia both show in-room internet) They could not give me any timeframe on when they could get someone up to clean the room but housekeeping is "Very Busy". I told them this was unacceptable. Went down to front desk and spoke with the manager. Amazingly rude person. He finally admitted their internet has been down for quite a while but it is "too hard to change that fact on the Internet". After long argument I told him he could refund me or I would reject the charges with my credit card company. He finally issued the refund and called me a dishonest person. What a jerk...no idea how the hotel allows such a person to run their facility.

I'd give the hotel 2.3 starts; hotel in disrepair; loud music playing at random times of the day and night; people who didn't want to do their job setting up the jump houses; you can only redeem prize tickets from the arcade on Thursday morning (WHO does this?!?!?) -- but the staff at the buffet (restaurant) was great and the hotel is perfect for a family vacation with small children.

We were very impressed with Club Hotel in Eilat. What a great concept having the hotel designed like a cruise ship! Even though our kids are grown, we loved that the pool area had so much to offer f young children, teens, as well as adults. Breakfast was complimentary and very good. Walking distance to the mall and just a short car ride to great restaurants. Our only objection was that there was no WIFI in the rooms...only in the lobby, which was a huge inconvenience. We definitely would not stay anywhere else in Eilat.

We thought that this hotel was a good value and quite comfortable! We would definitely stay here again in the future. Good location and amenities available on site like laundry facilities, grocery store and spa. There was an entrance fee to the spa which I did not agree with though. Helpful staff in a very clean and nice hotel with great parking.
