Latchis Hotel

Really interesting venue for a traveler who appreciates history and authentic builds. Lobby was very welcoming with vintage Christmas decor, host was very informative and pleasant. Room was comfortable and clean, the misc vinyl for surprise listening was a treat. also the views were pretty nice too. Will be back again.

It’s a good location

It’s expensive very uncomfortable the room has not refrigerated or coffee machine only has a old chair my room wasn’t clean I found a dirty under wear behind my bedside table🤮

Great location, walkable to plenty of shops and restaurants. Hotel staff are lovely. Building is cool/old/funky with similar amenities, so if that’s not your vibe, maybe this one isn’t for you. There’s no way to control temps in the room, and there’s at least 10 year old carpet in the rooms, which, let’s be honest, can we stop putting carpet in hotels please? Other than that, free parking! And did I mention the staff are lovely?

The Latchis is at the center of it all. Walk to great shops, restaurants or a brewery. See a show or movie at the same place you are staying, it’s great! We’ve been a few times now and already can’t wait to plan out our next stay.

The hotel is charming and so is the town. It is perfectly located to see the sites in the downtown area. The suite that we had because we brought our dog was outdated, but comfortable enough. The fact that there was a theater in the house is adorable! We also enjoyed the bar, Sages, adjacent to the hotel-very convenient.

A quick overnight for our 20th anniversary. As good as our first visit, perhaps even better. Can’t beat the location, steps from all things downtown is just perfect. Plus movie theater popcorn at your fingertips. Yum! Our quiet Solarium room was so quiet that we weren’t sure if there were other guests - beyond words amazing! Amazingly friendly staff and reasonably priced rooms make for a fantastic combo! We are looking forward to our next stay. Cheers!

My friend and I meet up a few times a year (sometimes more!) at the Latchis for a "girls getaway." We love the style, charm, and comfort of the hotel, and it's in a wonderfully convenient location. From the comfy beds to the friendly front desk staff, it's always a lovely time!

We had such a wonderful experience! From the moment we got off the train, it was a very brief walk to the hotel. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the whole place (including the theater) was timeless. It was like walking back in history but with modern convenience. For the cost, this was a perfect couples get away. The Latchis literally had everything we could possibly need, and was located a quick walk from great restaurants. We took a train, watched a movie, had dinner, and spent a wonderful evening away from home. I couldn’t recommend this place more. We’re already planning our next trip to come back.

Went for a quick getaway and couldn't be happier with the Latchis! Great atmosphere, great lobby, super clean, no fuss room. I stayed 2 nights in an interior queen (I wanted it quiet and it was!). Comfy bed with ample pillows. Nice large bathtub. Fridge & microwave too. I didn't think I'd be so excited about the record player and vinyl lending library but it was great and I listened to 7-8 records. Coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7! I love the historic space and photos throughout. I also caught a movie at the Latchis theater! Would definitely recommend.

Spacious rooms, amazing staff, 24/7 coffee bar, microwave and fridge in room can help with food expenses. Close to all the amazing shops and galleries in town all within walking distance. Old building charm and decor. 8 out of 10 stars. 10 out of 10 for the hardworking staff!
