Latchis Hotel

I went to the Vermont Center for Photography. Latchis' location is excellent for them and downtown in general . Latchis is very clean and well appointed. (The wonderful quirky items you'll have to discover yourself!). The bed was very comfortable. Was thrilled to watch the moon rise over the mountain Jaki was on duty and was a joy to deal with. I'll always book there.

I've stayed at The Latchis many times before (including an extended stay of several months), and this is easily one of my favorite hotels to stay at. The atmosphere is relaxing, the rooms are always cleaned, the decor is charming, and the staff are amazing. It feels like home!

Albeit brief, my stay at Latchis was great, and I hope to stay again in the future! I had never visited Brattleboro before but the hotel's location is perfect for walking to many parts of town. The hotel has plenty of basic amenities, everything was clean, and the staff was very helpful. I appreciate the vinyl library as a fun analog component, and I found myself meandering and appreciating the architecture of the building a handful of times.

Loved the historical atmosphere. The staff were very inviting and gave many recommendations for walking distant restaurants.

Latchis Hotel (& Theatre) was the perfect venue for my daughters wedding this past weekend. With it's beautiful vintage vibe, professional and courteous staff, I can't say enough how perfect this choice was for us. The rooms were clean, cool and comfortable and the building itself is stunning everywhere you look. However, the main theatre will take your breath away. After 14 years of dating, I am thrilled they chose Latchis. They got married on the stage and it was spectacular. We had cocktail hour under the same roof at Sages which also brings you back into a different time era of sophistication and glam. Then our guests enjoyed dinner in the private dining room downstairs where elegance oozed from the cozy black walls. The food was not only delicious but unique as well. Their chefs are talented, and take pride in presentation. They also had room for dancing which we enjoyed doing! If you have a special occasion coming up, I can not give this place enough praise. Just came back from my wedding weekend at the Latchis theatre and hotel and I am filled to the brim with gratitude. I could not have chosen a better venue space to host my wedding. The hotel is so fun, the vintage feel of the rooms transports guests back to an era of time that would otherwise be lost. The terrazzo flooring is beautiful, the original windows throughout the building are stunning, and I loved how each room was slightly different from each other in theme, decor, and overall space. The suites are absolutely HUGE. The views are incredible. Staff was MORE THAN accommodating. The hospitality of everyone involved was more than I could’ve ever dreamed of. Huge shout out to Amy and Makayla for making my wedding literally perfect and for EVERYTHING you did to help my mom and I. Without your vision, our ceremony would not have been so perfect. John for all of his kind words and access to such amazing spaces. He knows all of the history surrounding Latchis and his dedication to the theater spaces and the entire building does not go unnoticed. Huge thank you to ALL OF the theater staff! Milo and the entire crew at the connected bar and restaurant, Sages. I could go on and on. Located right in downtown Brattleboro, this space could easily turn into one of the most exciting wedding venues in the city. It has everything you need all in one and our guests were blown away by how nice everyone working in this building was. I could easily see how devoted the staff is to this historical space and I will never forget how much love I felt the entire weekend to not only be surrounded by my own friends and family but by such dedicated staff that worked tirelessly to make my wedding as wonderful as it was. I was a photographer for a wedding at Latchis. The room was perfect, I loved that I was able to stay right at the venue. My room on the third floor was quiet and the Latchis Theatre building was such a fun space to explore. We loved the walking distance to everything downtown. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a weekend away!

The Latchis is only hotel in Brattleboro to stay at. It's unique and has a lot of character and history. Staff is very pleasant and you have the only movie theater in town next door.

Das Hotel hat einen gewissen Charme. Teilweise Möbel aus den 30igern und 40igern, nett die alten Plattenspieler mit dementsprechenden Vinyl Manchmal etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Aber immer sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer direkt neben der Klimaanlage/lüftung, die zu einem permanenten Brummen im Zimmer führte. Auf unsere Bitte hin hat uns die äußerst nette Dame an der Rezeption ein neues Zimmer gegeben, ohne Fragen oder sonstiges, einfach freundlich und zuvorkommend. Lage zentral, Parkplatz vorhanden und Kaffee 24/7 in der Lobby.
