Beautiful location. Food in restaurant not as good as it should be and mark up on champagne was high.

Unique property in beautiful surroundings. Swimming, cycling and walking in beautiful surroundings. National Trust property and cafe on site. Wonderful place for couples and children- dogs too!

Upgraded to the most beautiful room

Beautiful hotel and I got an upgrade too.. after a stressful day and night at the hospital with my son the hotel was a welcome sight!! And the staff were lovely.. I just wish I’d been staying under different circumstances.. I shall definitely book a stay for pleasure best time!!

lovely location with lots of things to do as set in a National trust location. Caters well for pets and families alike. The even have a dining room for those without children or whom just want some peace and quiet after a long day at work.

What a lovely stay! It’s very family-friendly, with swimming and bike hire, among many other things to keep children occupied and is set in the most lovely grounds. The food was lovely and although there’s no bar, you can order drinks and sit in the lounge if you wish. The room was vast and very warm, plus it had the most stunning view.

Great hotel, really helpful staff and a fantastic location. It's just a shame I'm not in the area more often!
