Very comfortable bed and quality bedding. Well-equipped and comfortable bedroom although there is no comfortable seating area to relax in. Complementary still and sparkling water from a dispenser at the end of the corridor. A kettle and tea/coffee are provided. Pleasant and friendly staff at reception - Taras especially - and in the breakfast room. Really excellent varied breakfast. Great location. Ten minutes to the centre of Krakow old town and to the main station in the other direction. Unfortunately, we found that the fridge and shutters in our room did not work. We told the staff about these issues. The shutters were fixed but the fridge wasn't. One of the bedside lights was hanging loose on the wall. Surely staff would have noticed this? Also, while the air-conditioning unit in the bedroom worked, its remote control didn't work when trying to switch it off. We had to stand on a chair to deal with it! Clear instructions rather than a QR code would help.

We arrived in the early evening to be informed that our guest room was on the ground floor. We expressed disappointment and said we would prefer a room at a higher level. We were told - politely and apologetically - that as all the other rooms had been taken, there was no choice. Our subsequent experience unfortunately led us to the opinion that the guest room that we were allocated is unsuitable for guests. Our bedroom was on the ground floor at the rear of the hotel. Although there are two other bedrooms on the same corridor, these were on the opposite side and they faced the street at the front of the hotel. The only other rooms on the same side of the corridor as our room were staff/service rooms. The hotel is very close to Krakow main railway station and frequent trains pass the rear of the hotel all day and less frequently during the night. The railway tracks were immediately outside our bedroom windows, some 4 metres above the room. Because of the proximity to the railway lines, it was obvious that passengers could look down into our room from the many passing trains. Therefore, to ensure our privacy, we had no choice but to always shut the curtains and shutters. One morning, refuse collectors came at 4.45am dragging wheelie bins along the path outside our bedroom window and down the steps to the road, crashing and banging as they worked, and speaking loudly. On the afternoon before our departure, the security gate that opens onto the land at the rear of the hotel was unlocked. This suggests that anyone could access the back of the hotel and the immediate area outside our window, which made us feel vulnerable. Graffiti on the outside shutters of our room was evidence that undesirable people have gained access to the rear of the hotel which could present a threat to the guests in the room that we were occupying. Air conditioning units on the wall only outside our room emitted a low, penetrating droning noise.

Lokalizacja - blisko rynku, ale bezposrednie sasiedztwo kosciola sprawilo,ze chcac niechcac musialem wysluchac glosnej mszy. Rano dosc szybko zrobilo sie glosno.

Ekstremalnie maly pokoj - chyba najmniejszy jaki do tej pory mialem odwiedzajac Krakow. Nie dosc,ze malutki to jeszcze bardzo niski (na zaadoptowanym poddaszu). Brak wentylacji w lazience - zamknieta, co wraz z mikro pokojem i brakiem mozliwosci,zeby szeroko otworzyc okno tworzylo mieszanke teudna do zniesienia.

Het ontbijtbuffet en de watertappunten op de gang.

Iedere ochtend rond 7.30 uur werden we wakker van een man met een enorm lawaaiige bladblazer die dat ding continu aan en uit deed. Tip: zeg er iets van of doe die man een elektrische blazer cadeau.
