Staverton Park Hotel & Golf Club

Very impressed with pre arriving at hotel information.

Just returned from our second golf trip to this hotel ( already planning to return next year) Cannot fault this place every member of staff are friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble, a shoutout to Sophie who organises our trip superbly. The hotel is very clean and comfortable food is top notch and bar prices very competitive for a quality hotel. The golf course is in good condition & again the staff so helpful. Would certainly reccomend. Thank you to you all at Staverton

The location is great, the reception and the green area.

As you walk through the corridors to the rooms you can see how dirty the carpet is, the bedroom was also disgusting, we had the fan on as it was hot but my partner and I was sneezing 🤧 so much dust and dirty was in the room and this affected his sinus on the following day. The mirror and canvas were broken. Breakfast is a joke, no spoons for hot drinks, the mugs and cups are upside down in contact with dirty surfaces. Who wants to put their mouth on it ? The mushrooms were not even cooked, looked awful and dry. Sausage , such a bad quality ... No variety of bread, by 9 am there were no more pastries. The hotel rooms need refurbishment !

Good value, nice breakfast and decent facilities

I stayed at the Staverton for the weekend with my family as we were attending a nearby kart racing championship at Whilton Mill. We found both of our rooms very well presented, clean and full of all desired amenities. We had dinner in the bar; two of us had the fish and chips, which was just perfect. The chicken wings were also delicious and it was a good sized portion considering it was a “small plate”. All of the members of staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. We definitely will be staying again!
