The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale

Jordyn was awesome. Super friendly , helpful and his service was immaculate. He gave us a prime spot and any information we needed was readily available.

Jordyn with the Boucher brothers took amazing care of us! He set us up with a perfect spot on the beach. Answered all of our questions and explained all of the options for beach seating. Great service!

Fantastic property

The beach service is the absolute best!!! Jordyn & the team are amazing!!!! This is my 7th time coming back, always a great experience.

Overall I am extremely disappointed. I booked the Ritz because I have heard amazing things about the properties. This was my first ever time staying in a Ritz and maybe it’s my bad for having such high expectations. The building is dated, my room wasn’t clean (found multiple hairs and the snacks and drinks were so dusty, the cups were all dusty). The patio furniture looked like it was bought as Walmart. There were big and visible weeds on the pool deck. I had to pay $250 for my dog, the most by far I have ever spent by far for my dog. I pay way less at other hotels and they give me a dog bed or a cute little dog goodie bag. The only highlight was the restaurant, Burlock coast. The staff all knew my name and called me by my name, they brought my dog a water bowl without me having to ask. I know I’m it a high priority client and in the grand scheme of ritz Carlton didn’t spend a lot but for me it was a lot of money. I didn’t even end up staying long the day I checked out, I left earlier than I had planned. I was so excited to treat myself with this staycation - I had won an award at work and this was my own little reward. It’s drinks that it was so underwhelming and wished I had booked somewhere else.

Outstanding service and atmosphere

Average property in Fort Lauderdale, not impressive, suite average at best. More like a traditional Marriott property, not a Ritz Carlton. Stanley Cup playoffs and they close the only restaurant on property at 10:00 p.m. for a system update. Just expect average if you need to stay in this area. Balconies need major paint job and update!

We spent our entire vacation at the hotel. Didn’t even walk across the street to the beach, even though that would’ve been easy. The ocean view cabanas are not cheap but they’re also a great deal because the relaxation factor is off the charts. Plus the staff that works that part of the resort are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The staff overall is amazing.

I was a returning guest to the Ritz Ft. Lauderdale. I was very excited to be coming back to this property because last time I was here, I was complementary upgraded into a suite. One of the perks of being a platinum or titanium Marriott member. Let’s start with my check-in process, the front desk woman was so unfriendly. Almost rude. I asked her if my room was away from the elevator and she rudely answered me…. Yes. Totally put out by that question. I went to my room only to find out that it’s right next to the elevator! I immediately start texting through the app, asking to be moved away from the elevator, but wanted to keep a high floor because of the beautiful view. The front desk manager called me back and told me they had a suite available. The same suite that I had previously been upgraded into for no cost last time I was here. He told me it would be $750 more a night to be moved there. He said he had no other rooms available on a high floor that were away from the elevator. I cannot believe he would not move me for free! My loyalty to this brand means nothing to this hotel. I will never stay here again! That was a horrible management call in the hospitality business. They have a room available for me that would make me happy but they want $750 more a night to put me there. Unbelievable! Don’t stay here if you want your Marriott perks! You will get none…..
