CC's Hideaway

It was a cute space, boutique vibes. Fully equipped with a restaurant and bar. A lovely little pool to cool off in or just lounge around.

I was in a room right next to the bar, so was a little noisy in the evenings.

CC’s Hideaway was the most special place I could have imagined to spend Christmas and New Year’s. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. The staff are truly incredible, warm, attentive, and endlessly kind, and everything runs so seamlessly it feels like clockwork. Every activity was exceptionally well organised and felt like a genuinely luxurious experience. The places we visited were incredibly special and so thoughtfully chosen by Christina and Nim, making each outing feel meaningful rather than touristy. These experiences will stay with me forever. The retreat itself is beautifully located on a peaceful hilltop, offering a sense of calm and escape. Despite this, getting around couldn’t be easier thanks to the free transfer bus that runs every hour, making trips to the beach and local shops completely effortless. Nim’s energy is truly unforgettable. He brought so much joy and laughter to every day, and his presence alone made the experience even more special. I honestly don’t think I laughed so much anywhere else. If I could return every Christmas, I absolutely would. The food deserves a special mention. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all chef-prepared and consistently delicious. Breakfasts were exceptional, with fresh juices and endless options that set the tone for the day beautifully. This retreat created lifelong memories and meaningful friendships, and it will always hold a very special place in my heart. I cannot stress enough how incredible CC’s Hideaway is, and I will most definitely be returning.

I stayed at CC Hideaway in Phuket from December 14–23, and it was the perfect way to kick off my solo Southeast Asia journey. It struck a beautiful balance between structure and freedom — exactly what I needed. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and sat down to create a flexible retreat package that still offered grounding structure. Each day included two yoga classes, a fresh juice, a smoothie, and the option to choose from a variety of activities. I loved having the freedom to join the group or take time for myself — there was never pressure, only support. I met incredible women from all over the world, all on different legs of their journeys, which made the experience even more special. My ocean-view room was stunning, the staff was genuinely kind and attentive, and the yoga classes were professional and thoughtfully taught. As a yoga instructor myself, I felt truly nurtured — both in my personal practice and in expanding my teaching knowledge. This experience sparked something deeper for me and even inspired thoughts of leading my own retreat in Thailand one day. The free shuttle running all day to beach highlights was such a bonus — you really get so much value here. I truly feel the website and initial contact don’t fully capture how special this place is. Even a few days here would be worth it, but staying longer was transformative. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend it to anyone — especially solo travelers.

Прекрасный, очень уютный отель. Находится в горах, до моря ходит бесплатный шаттл. Для нас это даже плюс, так как можно спокойно отдохнуть вдали от суеты. Завтрак разнообразный и очень вкусный: шведской стол и можно заказать яйца в любом виде, гранолу, кашу. Есть все фрукты и овощи, и даже кокосовая вода, свежевыжатый сок манго. В отеле 2 раза в день бесплатно проводят йогу, есть массажный центр. Место очень комфортное, рекомендуем ♥️ и обязательно приедем еще🙏🏻

If your idea of a 'retreat' is a hotel around a pool where groups of girls get drunk and sing karaoke in the evening, this is for you. When making my booking I stipulated I was looking for a calm and quiet place where I could recover. My expectation, (naturally) was I was booking a wellness retreat designed to promote well-being and a place I could 'retreat' from the stresses of daily life, re-connect with body and mind and recover. Having spoken to the Manager explaining this wasn't possible when a bunch of girls were singing Sweet Caroline and Dancing Queen like cats being dragged through a hedge backwards, and that I would like to leave as CC's hideaway was 'not as advertised', I was charged two extra nights for the privilege for this 'retreat' experience, even though it was nothing of the sort. Hence my review. Recently I went to a hotel and they refunded us the final night as one of our party was ill and we had to leave, which shows you not every hotel is as unkind. And a hotel is what this is, with activities, massage and yoga bolted on. This does not feel like a calm and relaxing place when you're there at all. If you want to go on a fun packed holiday around a pool with a load of girls which includes some massage and yoga this would be for you, but this certainly is not a retreat in the true sense, as anyone would understand it. The rooms are dated, and the food is average too and not up to the standard you'd expect for the money you pay. I only leave negative reviews when I've been treated poorly and feel others should be aware of the pitfalls.
