Clarion Hotel Bergen Airport Terminal

Great place to stay for an early morning flight.

Great location just next to the airport!

Pretty darned good

Only down side was the lack of air conditioning. While this is typical in this region, it was unusually warm and the VAV (Variable Air Valve) only raises or lowers the temperature by 2 degrees. After contacting the front desk about this, they said I could come get a fan.

We chose this hotel thinking it was actually attached and would help with my husband needing special assistance at the airport. Instead a long outdoor walk was required to reach the hotel. Not possible for disability. Very misleading!!!!

Excellent breakfast spread

Have a nice stay here the night before our flight.

It’s very close to the airport which is why we wanted to stay there so it was very convenient. They also offer an early breakfast at 4am for people with early flights which we appreciated!

Stayed for one night before our flight back to London. Nice, spacious room. Comfortable bed. Decent shower/bathroom. All the usual amenities are provided. There is an AC system, which is somewhat rare for hotels in this part of the world, that worked well and got the room down to a sleep-able temperature (we stayed in three hotels during our short trip to Bergen/Flam and the others were like saunas at night). Good, thick curtains (also rare). Very much appreciated as it doesn't really get dark during midsummer. Excellent location. A very short walk to the terminal and tram station. Breakfast is amazing. We had an early flight and the full spread wasn't out, but there was still so much choice and it was really lovely stuff. They were also fine with us making a sandwich to go as we didn't have much time in the morning, which is rare for a hotel chain and was very much appreciated. Definitely recommend. Would happily stay again.
