The hotel itself is impressive. The environment is designed in a truly unique way, the abundance and diversity of vegetation is a miracle for a European. The location is particularly good. The view from the houses is magnificent. The restaurant and spa offer are demanding. The level was even raised by all the staff members with their kindness. We have never experienced anything like this anywhere else. Thank you for the unforgettable days we spent there. Special thanks to Kim, the front office manager.

We have just got back having spent 8 nights in an Upper Seaview Villa at Nakamanda and could not have had a better experience. The room was spacious and well appointed with a large bath/showeroom that included two separate sinks and generous drawer and hanging spaces. The restaurant food was very good with a wide local and western choice and the breakfast buffet was amazing with an extensive choice of foods to cover anyone's tastes! All of the staff were very friendly and were always ready to help in an circumstance. The layout of the resort is on a steep slope so there are numerous steps but with level areas between and the villas have been cleverly situated for maximum privacy. The resort is in a small village with a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops for everyday needs. We were so impressed with our stay that we are already looking to return in 2027.

We asked our agent to find us a quality beach front resort hotel in Krabi. This was their recommendation and we are delighted we took it. From the moment we arrived ( efficient friendly check-in ) we were spoilt. Comfortable rooms/villas laid out so you have privacy and peace. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and a private veranda too. Pool and restaurant area is great - massive, easy to get into pool. Pool attendants are super attentive and will assist with fresh towels and moving umbrellas without being asked. Steps lead down to the beach and clear seawater. Food is excellent - fresh, good selection. Liked the full wine list. So for a relaxing and pampering time, this is a great choice.

Beautiful location, clean and spacious rooms, perfect private terase for relaxing outdoors in the evenings, stunning views from the pool, restaurant area. The biggest issue was the concierge staff ignoring our request! Our room was located next to the reception rooms! First thing 7:45, 8am was staff chatting, laughing , talking loud! We mentioned at the check in first thing that we are very light sleepers and we need to be able to rest ! Our request was completely ignored! Every single morning- even after we mentioned it again , was the same : loud, chatty and disturbing! Too bad …. Will not recommend or stay there again for this reason!

Stunning hotel, good service, excellent rooms, we enjoyed it very much, the hotel is located in a quieter area and there are good restaurants and massages all along the street, highly recommended

The Nakamanda is not just a resort.it is private, peaceful, friendly and personalised service. It is really a heaven for our honeymoon. Thank for all staffs taking good care of us.

Has the potential to be a very nice hotel is not 5 star hotel 4 star at most We were very disappointed with our stay we’d come from a 5 star luxury resort in koh samui and we did not get the same experience here on 1st arrival it was clear the hotel is very dated it needs a serious renovation to keep up with the other hotels in the area Rooms are spacious but very dated throughout a nice touch with the complimentary cans of sodas and snacks rooms were not cleaned thoroughly though we constantly had dead mosquitoes collected on the window ledge bedding wasn’t changed until I asked they need to clean more as you are by a jungle so you get a lot of bugs You pay for the location with this hotel on the beach with the easy access of the long tail boats other than that it really isn’t upto 5 star The spa is basic the breakfast was very basic Help yourself with one coffee machine no fresh pancakes or waffle stations there is one egg station that was good but bacon sausages were kept in those metal containers that collect water and we’re just soggy they had a good collection of local food in the morning but I did notice it was the same as what was served everyday I wondered how fresh it was pastries were not fresh they were stale some days Cocktails were nice and restaurant food was excellent Staff are very helpful There was a lot of rain when we stayed and the sewage smell was awful by the pool I did feel for the people staying in rooms by it They did try and address it with bleach The gym is the most outdated equipment I’ve seen and the aircon was never on I had to turn it on every time it took forever to work I gave up using the gym in the end Location outside is great with some lovely local restaurants which were very tasty Mother house was one and the beach restaurant and bar was good vibes on a night We played golf at the Sofitel in walking distance which is a small but tough course there is also a 7/11 near by which is handy There are a lot of stairs so if your not able to cope with that then this hotel is not for you The staff are very helpful and friendly We were a family of 5 non of us would stay agin purely on the overall feel of the hotel it wasn’t worth what we paid I hope the owner spends some money on it as it could be lovely

We loved our stay at Nakamanda. Excellent, attentive and very friendly staff. Great views from the lovely outdoor seating areas. Food was decent too and great beach out front. Yes it comes with a number of stairs, so good to beware of that. Would loved to have stayed longer.

The best rated place I’ve stayed in ! Discovering this gem isn’t easy as it doesn’t show up easily on portals . What worked Location ! The most beautiful sea side and island view that one can get in all of Krabi. Even better than neighbouring Dusit Super easy and quick booking via their WhatsApp. Spacious well designed rooms and amenities including a bath tub with a sun roof Excellent variety of breakfast - fruits , non veg and veg options and thai delights Supremely attentive staff - Alid and Mad to name a few Extremely empowered front office. Even a trainee staff is allowed to provide the guest some exceptions which is unusual We chose the Sala Sea view villa and it was the best view of my life. They have a large pool and a beach that one can swim in. Kayaking ie complimentary. I do hope they maintain this sterling level of customer service which was very inspiring for me as a guest and customer service professional myself. The only thing to watch out for is the number of stairs to navigate if you are travelling with anyone with mobility issues.

When staying in Krabi Nakamanda is my go to resort and has been for a number of years now. The resort is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are separate bungalows set in tropical setting and they are very well appointed. It is a pleasure to stay in them. The resort's breakfast is plentiful with a variety of choices. The staff are what make this resort. They are very friendly, very professional and make a stay here so enjoyable you dont want to leave. Surrounding the resort are various businesses, restaurants and a couple on the beach, 7/11 supermarket, massage etc. It is quiet and secure. I have all ready booked my trip there next year 26. Highly recommend to stay here.
