A clean, efficiently run hotel with nice facilities and very friendly staff. Only quibble was the smoking policy. In the interests of hygiene and health of non-smokers, smoking should not be allowed in any part of the hotel where food is served. Eating and relaxing in the roof-top bar area was spoiled by the inconsiderate behaviour of smokers.
A clean, comfortable chain hotel directly across from the entrance to the Archaeological Park. Easy walking distance to the Ortygia and a very good fish trattoria.
Good location for archeological park and museum. Also great to see greek theater productions in park. All are walkable from hotel.
Very clean hotel with modern ,well appointed bathroom and comfortable bed. The room could have done with an extra chair in it though,a double room (only one). Polite ,friendly and helpful staff throughout.,Good buffet breakfast arrangement ,nice choice and very fair price. If you have your own transport there is plenty of parking around and about, if you don't, like us, then you have to be prepared to walk to see Ortiga (the old town) (busses did not seem to operate at a good frequency during daytime hours). There are good restaurants around and about but they take a bit of looking for, the Hotel's restaurant opens Monday to Thursday for evening meal which is good.No problem with this hotel at all ideal for 3-4 day break if you are moving around.
Very pleasant hotel, across from the Greek Theatre. Breakfasts were very good, and so was the swimming pool
Perfect location. We walked to the archeological places. It’s also all downhill and easy to walk to Ortiglia. We took a taxi back for just ten euros. Tv is in the mirror! Just use the remote. They gave us free parking. I’m convinced we got the best deal here.
Really nice full service hotel, even laundry. Great location right across the street from the archaeological park and a quick drive to Ortygia. Off the street parking. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.
Was a problem with my booking (miss communication) Got a free upgrade due to this. Room was very comfortable and clean. Service was fantastic and front desk staff very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Not far from many sites. Took me a while to find the T.V ( Its in the mirror lol ) Would stay again
We stayed at the Mercure Siracusa for three nights. Reception staff very helpful, room perfect and the breakfasts were excellent just sorry we couldn't stay longer.
